Karen considers the 1990s the golden era of country music and counts Reba McEntire among her inspirations. With six albums under her belt, Karen isn't new to competition; she previously appeared on the songwriting show 'Platinum Hit' in 2011.

One of her notable tracks, a cover of Lee Ann Womack's 'I Hope You Dance', has amassed around 500,000 plays on Spotify. The song 'Normandy' on Karen's 2023 album has a special story behind it.
