'The Voice' Season 17 Top 13: Blake Shelton faces backlash from fans as he saves Cali Wilson and not Gracee Shriver
Blake seems to be making a lot of bad decisions this season on 'The Voice.'
'The Voice' season 17's Top 20 Live Playoffs aired on Monday night and back again for the results, we witnessed who America saved with their votes, and who the coaches saved.
The first team results to be announced were of Team Blake's. The five contestants from Blake Shelton's team who performed on Monday night were Ricky Braddy, Ricky Duran, Kat Hammock, Gracee Shriver, and Cali Wilson.
The first two contestants who received the most votes from fans and viewers and moved on to the Top 13 were Ricky Duran and Kat Hammock. Blake had the chance to save one contestant from his team, to add to the Top 13, and he chose to save Cali Wilson who performed her rendition of Toxic on Monday night.
Post his decision, fans took to Twitter to share their disappointment in his choice, claiming that Cali didn't deserve that spot but Gracee did. This is not the first time that Blake has been receiving flak from fans for his choice in choosing the winner for his team. Taking to social media, fans wonder what's wrong with him and his choices this season questioning if he is trying to lose the season on purpose this year.
"I love gracee! I cant believe Blake didn't pick her! #TheVoice," wrote a fan. Adding to that another said, "What? Blake saved his WEAKEST singer? She was the only one from last night, who I actually thought sucked! #TheVoice."
"You just saved the worst member of your team. Bad job Blake, bad job. #TheVoice #BlakeShelton," shared a fan. While another wrote, "#TheVoice what!! Blake! What were you thinking????????"
"Good grief Blake!!! What’s with you this year!! #TheVoice," wrote a fan. Adding to that another fan said, "Why did Blake pick Cali?? Her performance last night was my least favorite ughhh #TheVoice."
