'The Voice' season 17 returned on Tuesday night, revealing that Joana Martinez from Team Gwen made it through to the Top 11 via the Instant Save vote, and fans couldn't be happier.

After Monday night's 'Dedication Week' the series was back on Tuesday night for its results, where only 11 contestants advanced to next week. Out of those 11 contestants, 10 advanced directly after they received the highest votes from America last night. They were Marybeth Byrd, Hello Sunday, Katie Kadan, Jake Hoot, Rose Short, Kat Hammock, Myracle Holloway, Ricky Duran, and Shane Q. Jake Hoot was the most streamed artist of the night on Apple Music.

The remaining three artists who were in the bottom had to battle it out against each other for the final spot via their Instant Save performance. The three contestants in the bottom were Max Boyle, Cali Wilson and Joana Martinez.

Cali Wilson performed her version of 'The Chain' by Fleetwood Mac, Max performed his rendition of Ed Sheeran‘s 'Thinking Out Loud' and Joana performed her version of “Superwoman” by Alicia Keys.

After their performance, fans had five minutes to vote for their favorite contestant and help them advance. The contestant who won the Instant Save and advanced to the Top 11 was Joana from Team Gwen. After the episode, fans took to Twitter sharing their love for the contestant, claiming she deserved that spot after a flawless performance compared to the other two contestants.

"I'm really glad that Joana made it through to the top 11. @joanamart1nez. Very well deserved. I'm looking forward to seeing her perform next week #TheVoice," wrote a fan. Adding to that another said, "Vocally though, Joana did the best. Both Cali and Max had some shaky vocal parts. I feel that Joana picked the best song out of the three. #TheVoice."

"Agreed that Cali and Max will be just fine. The Voice wasn't their platform, but there are others. Joana was the correct call to advance," shared a fan. While another wrote, "Well done America - you're making the right decision so far to save Joana."
