'The Voice' Season 17: Fans ask Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani to move beyond PDA and focus on competition

'The Voice' season 17 returned on October 8 night and the Blind Auditions are coming to an end. While the Battle Rounds are all set to begin next week after the final set of Blind Auditions, fans just hope Gwen Stefani would stop turning her chair when Blake Shelton does.

Despite the regular PDA on the show by Blake and Gwen, fans claim she takes it over the top by turning her chair around every time Blake turns his. Over the past few weeks of Blind Auditions, we have witnessed an impeccable set of talent audition for a chance of making it to either one of the coach's teams.

The coaches fought each other and came up with their best plea for each contestant they wanted to get onto their team. Though in the beginning, the coaches turned their chairs for most of the contestants, now they are being real picky as their teams are almost full. While Kelly Clarkson and John Legend are going wisely about their choice, Gwen, on the other hand, keeps turning her chair every time Blake does, and fans claim their couple bond and PDA is getting too old, and it's time to move on and concentrate on the competition.

Compared to the previous weeks, this week, when the series returned, was when we got to see Gwen turn her chair just because Blake did most of the time. When Blake himself questioned her in a couple banter as to why she keeps doing that, Gwen quipped saying that he just has good taste.

Taking to Twitter, a fan said, "Seriously, am I the only one watching @NBCTheVoice who is tired of Gwen turning around every time @blakeshelton does. It’s annoying and so expected now this is why I didn’t want to watch this season #TheVoice #StopIt." Adding to that another said, "so annoying how gwen turns around EVERY time blake does #TheVoice."

"Can Blake turn his chair without Gwen just once? Like, why??? #TheVoice," wrote a fan. While another added, "I'm a huge fan of the voice but this Blake/Gwen combo is getting old. Sorry. The original three were the best. Keep the romance at home. #TheVoice."

Adding to that another fan wrote, "Gwen is starting to get annoying. She just pushes her button whenever Blake does & it was cute at first but now..." Another fan said, "After tonight I’m going to stop watching until the top 10. I can’t stomach Blake and Gwen show any longer #TheVoice."

Some fans also speculate that this is a replacement to the banter between Adam Levine and Blake, but it's not sticking on, and it's got to go. Now that Gwen isn't returning next season, maybe fans would finally get what they want.

'The Voice' airs every Monday and Tuesday night only on NBC. Check your local listings for more information.
