'The Voice' Season 17: Fans demand that trivia questions on the app be removed because it takes away the fun from the show

While the contestants really performed their best, fans claim that the series spoils their interest in watching the show with their trivia questions that make no sense whatsoever.

'The Voice' season 17 might be going on in full swing, but fans and viewers aren't in favor of the trivia questions being asked on the app claiming it pulls the fun out of the show and makes them feel like viewers sitting in a classroom.

The long-running reality TV competition series returned on Monday for night 3 of the Battle Rounds. And while the contestants really performed their best, fans claim that the series spoils their interest in watching the show with their trivia questions that make no sense whatsoever.

The Voice App helps fans and viewers play along with the coaches as they watch the show live. They get to create their own team, save, steal just like the coaches do, apart from voting for their favorite contestant.

Recently the series also brought in a new feature where they get to answer trivia questions about the contestants and the coaches for more points to help them top the leader board. While it was all fun and games in the beginning, fans claim it's starting to get boring and annoying with the trivia questions.

Taking to social media, fans cited their reasons asking for the removal of the segment from the app. "Would you please bring to the attention of producer, answering questions takes fun away from watching the show and have heard many people gave up answering questions and watching. Thanks @blakeshelton #TheVoice," a fan wrote on Twitter.

Adding to that another fan said, "The way the Voice show is this session became like the viewers are in classroom. Some people gave up to play. It is not fun focusing on answering questions instead of rekaxing and enjoying the show. #thevoice."

"Some of Questions on voice app are none sence and stupid. The question that " in Blind Adition how many times Blake and Gwen had fight" what does it has to do with Voice show. Who Cares and there is a point on that. Cut the crap," shared a fan.

"#TheVoice love the show & the app! However, all the questions make it harder to enjoy the show," wrote a fan. While another added, "Y'all need to stop with all these quizzes can't pay attention to the show and the questions at the same time #TheVoice."

'The Voice' season 17 airs every Monday and Tuesday night only on NBC. Check your local listings for more information.
