'The Voice': Will Holly Forbes take Ariana to finals? Fans say ‘get rid of Sasha’

While Team Blake Shelton’s Wendy Moten gave a perfect start to Episode 19 of ‘The Voice’ Season 21 on Monday, November 22, Ariana Grande’s team member Holly Forbes surely took it a notch higher. Holly, who easily managed to crack the top 11 in the last episode, fought to reserve a seat in the top 10 with her latest performance during the “Fan Week.”

The fans chose Heart’s iconic rock anthem ‘Alone’ for Holly Forbes and she indeed pulled it off with ease. Before hitting the stage, Holly revealed how much love and adulation she was getting from her fans ever since she landed on ‘The Voice’. The Kentucky native shared that she got the key of her city Catlettsburg adding that October 14 will now be celebrated as Holly Forbes Day. Coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Blake Shelton praised the talented crooner leaving them completely smitten by her enthralling performance.

Holly Forbes earns standing ovation from Ariana and Kelly

Holly, who looked stunning in an all-black shimmery outfit, completely owned the stage with her latest performance. Her mentor Ariana could not contain her excitement as she soon stood up to enjoy the performance. Kelly Clarkson too gave Holly a standing ovation as her set ended.
 
Speaking about Holly backstage, Ariana shared that she had brand new energy adding that she loved the song she got as it was the opposite energy from her typical “sweet demeanor”. Ariana, on stage, later added it was noteworthy how Holly could still surprise them even after coming so far in the show. John Legend, who seemed equally mesmerized by her performance loved how passionate and committed Holly was adding that she was a gorgeous vocalist. Blake mentioned how the song proved to be a perfect choice for Holly concluding that she absolutely killed it.

‘Team Ariana should get rid of Sasha and focus voting for Holly’

The regular viewers of ‘The Voice’ praised Holly Forbes’ latest set on Twitter claiming that she will take Team Ariana to the finale. “WOE! HOLLY FOEBES ROCKED THE VOICE STAGE!!! AMAZING VOCALS!”, said one user as another posted, “Holy Holly Heart!#HollyForbes on #TheVoice just did an astounding rendition of "Alone" by #Heart - #AnnandNancyWilson !!! She effortlessly belted out & hit all the highest notes! That song is such a difficult challenge!”  Another shared a  meme of Ariana and tweeted, “If holly doesn’t get voted through then y’all can kiss ms ponytails chances of winning goodbye.”
 
The next one shared, “COME ON HOLLY SHE BODIED  #TheVoice” as one added, “Team Ariana should get rid of Sasha and focus voting for Holly instead. She's only Ariana's best chance for the finale.”  Meanwhile, another user said, “People saying Holly is pitchy either never heard the song before or never heard it live. You kidding me? She killed that.” Another stated, “She’s so talented it’s insane. she’s gonna win it for #teamariana”  And, another concluded, “Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift wishes to be 1/8 talented as this.”
