'The View's Sara Haines jokes about watching Taylor Swift at Travis Kelce's NFL games over 'expensive' concerts
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Taylor Swift has often been discussed on ‘The View’, and this time the price of her concert tickets made it to the ‘Hot Topics’ on the daytime show, where the panel discussed a question posed by a mother.
However, as Whoopi Goldberg asked the panel the question about the price of the concert tickets and the dilemma faced by the mother, Sara Haines had better advice.
Instead of going to the concert, Haines advised they go to the Kansas City Chiefs NFL game instead, where Swift is often seen in the stands with Travis Kelce’s family.
While Kelce and Swift’s relationship hasn’t been confirmed, they continue to make headlines.
Whoopi Goldberg says people are paying ‘top dollar’ for Taylor Swift’s concert
‘The View’ host and moderator Whoopi Goldberg presented the topic to the rest of the panel that revolved around the price of Taylor Swift's concert ticket, “So I know you need to hear about this as well. The Taylor Swift tour…”
Goldberg dramatically paused for a moment as the audience laughed, “is a hot ticket, that some people are paying top dollar for.”
Goldberg continued, “And one mom wrote into Dear Abby because she is mad, that her friend sold her daughter a ticket for $900, even though the woman only paid $300 for it. Uh, is this woman obligated to lower the price because it’s her friend’s daughter?”
“Shouldn’t the woman have said I’m not paying that much money for this ticket, you’re just going to have to deal with it, or was she giving into her daughter's need to see Taylor Swift?” asked Goldberg to the rest of her co-hosts.
Sara Haines chimes in with advice
As Whoopi Goldberg presented the question about expensive tickets to Taylor Swift’s concert, Sara Haines, who sat right next to Goldberg, chimed in with her advice.
Haines said, “I would tell her she could just watch a Chiefs game for free, and get a full show.”
Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin broke out into a burst of loud laughter, while Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, and Goldberg remained silent.
Only seconds after that, Behar switched back to the question asked by Goldberg, completely ignoring Haines’ joke, which referred to Taylor Swift’s presence at the NFL games as she supports the Kansas City Chiefs, amid a rumored relationship with Travis Kelce.
