'The View' host Ana Navarro defends her 'below the belt' dig at Florida Gov Ron DeSantis' wife Casey DeSantis
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: “Donald Trump is leading his Republican rivals in New Hampshire but new polling shows Nikki Haley has jumped ahead of Gov Ron DeSantis,” as reported by MSNBC.
As this latest poll made its way to the headlines, ‘The View’ co-host Ana Navarro also shared her take on the same. In one Instagram post, Navarro took a dig at former President Donald Trump, former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley, and Florida governor Ron DeSantis.
However, Navarro’s focus remained on DeSantis, the governor of her own state. Navarro claimed, “DiSaster is a failing, flailing, loser.” In addition, she also mentioned Ron DeSantis’ wife, Casey DeSantis, and clapped back at a user who said it was “below the belt.”
Ana Navarro slams Ron DeSantis on social media
After the latest New Hampshire poll, ‘The View’ host Ana Navarro took to Instagram and shared a screenshot of The Boston Globe. With that, Navarro wrote, “Trump’s a criminal and threat to democracy. And Haley, that woman’s a human wind-sock, bending whichever way the wind blows. But, hey, look at the bright side.”

She continued, “DiSaster is a failing, flailing, loser. I could not be happier to see the utter rejection of a man who has dedicated himself to dividing, fanning the flames of racism and discrimination, waging manufactured culture wars, and attacking drag-queens, history, diversity, and Mickey.”
“He’s gonna come back to Florida a weakened, humiliated, lame-duck. We’ll have to bear him for another three years, but at least the rest of America will be spared from his crazy shit and his Stepford wife,” concluded Navarro as she briefly mentioned Casey DeSantis, Ron DeSantis’ “Stepford wife.”

While several people supported Ana Navarro’s claims against Ron DeSantis and his “Stepford wife,” one user claimed it was “below the belt” and Navarro was quick to respond.
The user wrote, “To go after the wife is below the belt. If you claim to support women, leave the wives out of it. She isn’t running for anything.”
To this, Navarro responded as she tagged the user, “False. By all accounts, she runs him and his campaign.”
The user responded to Navarro, “@ananavarrofl didn’t realize that.” The original comment garnered over 120 replies as people went after Casey DeSantis.
One user wrote, “Oh please, she is the one running the campaign,” while another said, “She has inserted herself into the situation.”
“She is the woman in front of the man, she is just smart enough to stay out of the limelight,” commented one user. A fourth person wrote, “She’s as dangerous as him, if not more.”
People continued to slam Casey as they supported Navarro’s claims, with one writing, “That woman is helping take down the country.” Another user added, “She’s part of the problem.”
