'The View' host Alyssa Farah Griffin shares 'Barbieheimer' picture as Democrats flood comment section: 'You do a great job'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: July 21, 2023, was a big day for everyone across the world, especially those who are big moviegoers. ‘Barbie’ and ‘Oppenheimer’ were both released on the same day, prior to which, ‘The View’ had the opportunity to have both Greta Gerwig and Christopher Nolan on the panel, on consecutive days.
Alyssa Farah Griffin seemed especially dedicated with her ‘Barbie’ outfit when Gerwig joined the ladies on 'The View'. Now, as the movies have officially released, Griffin has taken to Instagram with a ‘Barbieheimer’ collage, one picture where she’s decked in pink, and another in black. However, the comment section focuses less on her outfit, as Democrats and Liberals appreciate Griffin’s work instead.

With an uneven collage, Griffin has taken to Instagram to post a picture of herself in two outfits, one for ‘Barbie’ and the second for ‘Oppenheimer.’ In this post, she also detailed where the pictures are from as she wrote the caption, “#barbieheimer Backstage @theviewabc glam /// Minot Air Force Base in front of the B-52 Stratofortress.” Although Griffin’s comment section is limited, her followers have the room to leave their thoughts on ‘The View’ co-host, who is often in the limelight for her political inclination. Griffin is loyal to the Republican Party, and under this Instagram post has been showered with love by Democrats.

‘I’m a lifelong Democrat’
‘The View’ has addressed a lot of politics of late, from POTUS to Donald Trump, to Ron DeSantis, and even having Will Hurd, who will be a part of the GOP race on the show. Amidst all this, Griffin has often had to defend the Republican Party, and for doing so, she has received love and respect from the Democrat viewers. One fan writes on her post, “Love you, Alyssa! I lean more left but admire your intellect. You're an equal at The View desk. Stand your ground!” and another says, “I’m a lifelong Democrat, but I couldn’t have been happier the way you stood firm on your Republican values. Way to go Alyssa! And I absolutely loved your ponytail. Stay true to your core values, don’t let anyone sway you from them.” There’s a newfound respect for Griffin as one comment reads, “I’m a Democrat who admires your intelligence and integrity when sticking to what you strongly believe. I have much more respect for you.”
More Democrats and Liberals seem encouraged to comment on Griffin’s post, “I, too, am a Democrat and I love what you bring to the View table. I listen to what you have to say knowing that you have ALL the experience and knowledge behind your voice. Thank you.” And another wrote, “You’re my favorite, and I’m a liberal Dem! I enjoy hearing your side.” All in all, while Griffin’s ‘Barbieheimer’ collage didn’t get much attention, her fans are impressed by her work as one wrote, “YOU DO A GREAT JOB ON THE VIEW. Just so you know this open-minded democrat listens to what you say. Stay strong. We know it can be tough for you with some of the ladies…”
