'The View' fans gush over 'adorable' host Alyssa Farah Griffin as she suffers awkward wardrobe malfunction on live TV

Alyssa Farah Griffin's outfit choice sparks conversation on 'The View' and amongst fans

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: There’s a lot of political talk when it comes to ‘The View’ and it has increased a lot more since the talk show has been back from the brief hiatus. However, now and then, there’s a little mix of playfulness, even if that means a wardrobe malfunction from one of the most stylish co-hosts, Alyssa Farah Griffin.

Turns out, Griffin loves a cold shoulder look when it comes to her fashion sense, even if that means at the expense of an awkward wardrobe malfunction while on ‘The View.’ Her co-hosts, Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, and Sara Haines couldn’t help but comment on it. While they had mixed opinions, fans seem to love Griffin’s look!

Griffin’s outfit causes chaos

Griffin wore a cold-shouldered shirt with a unique cut, and the first co-host to bring it into the conversation was Behar, “I’m fascinated by that shirt you are wearing.” Griffin was quick to laugh it off, but before she could explain her outfit, Goldberg cut her in, “I didn’t want to bring it up, I thought…I didn’t want to say anything.” Griffin was quick to wiggle her way into the conversation about her own outfit, “I’m not sure if I’m wearing it right but I like it, so I’m just going to go with it.”

It didn’t take long for Goldberg to pull a pair of scissors out as she said, “I don’t want anybody to get nervous, but we have been talking about this shirt, and I really feel like somebody needs to cut it so that it works, but I think we need to call Fran.” Fran, who is their stylist comes on-air as she fixes Griffin’s shirt, which was actually styled and worn wrong by Griffin herself. Fran clarified that the shirt can be worn in multiple ways, leaving the co-hosts baffled. While Goldberg might have wanted to slice this shirt up, the fans seemingly loved it!

‘Carrie Bradshaw vibes’

Fans have adored Griffin’s outfit as one person tweets, “I LOVED Alyssa’s blouse the way she wore it!!! Adorable girl! Love all of you so much. I have Huge smiles every single day. Thank you!” Fans also couldn’t help but point out that  Griffin’s way of wearing the outfit was way better than how it was intended to be as one person says, “It looked boxy and way too big when she wore it correctly.” And another fan writes, “No, it looks better the way Alyssa was wearing it; the "proper" way looks kind of weird.”

Some fans have also compared Griffin to the iconic Carrie Bradshaw from ‘Sex and the City,’ “I loved the way she was wearing it! I was getting Carrie Bradshaw vibes! ❤️” However, the consensus remains that everyone was a fan of the wardrobe malfunction, aka the look Griffin wanted to begin with as one tweet reads, “Alyssa - I like the “one shoulder” look too!  😊” and another says, “I kinda liked it off the shoulder.” Goldberg definitely wouldn’t agree with the fans on this one, as she was ready with the scissors!
