NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On Monday, June 12 episode of ‘The View’, co-hosts Sara Haines and Whoopi Goldberg shared a hearty laugh over Haines’ unusual behavior. Haines responded to a comment with a whisper specifically to Goldberg who revealed that it was “weird.”

In classic ‘The View’ fashion, this little exchange was quite different from the recent interaction between the two hosts which has been quite tense. Goldberg has cut off Haines in two previous episodes to either share her opinion or change the subject completely.

'Whoopi doesn’t age so …'

The conversation that took place during the broadcast revolved around Jennifer Aniston's comments about aging in a recent interview. The movie star confessed that she finds it offensive when someone calls her "young for her age" and said that it is not so much a compliment as an ageist idea. The women on the panel agreed with Aniston's sentiments, but went off track when co-host Sunny Hostin said, "Well, Whoopi doesn't age so..." "No, I spread," the comedian replied.

While the other hosts shared a laugh, Haines put up her hand to cover her mouth from the camera and audience to whisper something to Goldberg. Although the viewers couldn’t hear her, the hosts called her out for making it “weird.”

"Sara took it to a whole other place," Whoopi said as Haines hid her face in her shoulder in embarrassment. The former then confessed that “Usually I wait for commercial."

Whoopi Goldberg and Sara Haines’ strange dynamic

In a couple of episodes in the past few weeks, Goldberg was noticed to have cut-off fellow co-host Haines twice while she was in the middle of a sentence. This happened as recently as on the Friday episode when the panel discussed gender-affirming surgeries and the discriminatory issue behind finding drag queens as dangerous for kids. The journalist was sharing her views on the topic when Goldberg broke out into an emotional and angry rant saying, “None of this is anybody's business!”

Before this, last month the panel was discussing the controversial mermaid statue in Italy. Haines again pointed out the issues with the statue being anatomically incorrect when the comedian jumped in to completely change the subject. Many fans and viewers were confused by Goldberg’s behavior.
