Hosts of 'The Real' say Mel B not too happy about being asked about Spice Girls royal wedding reunion
Mel B sat down with the hosts of 'The Real' and was gently asked about whether the Spice Girls were invited to the Royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and if they were scheduled to perform at it.
It seemed as though Mel B was not too happy about the probings, according to co-hosts Adrienne Houghton, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley.
As reported by ET, "When Mel was on the show, we asked her was she going to the royal wedding? And she said, 'All five of us are going to the royal wedding. We're like, 'All five Spice Girls?'"
"So we thought, well if all five are going, and we know that Prince Harry was a big fan, well maybe they're performing at the reception," Loni Love continued.
"So when we asked her, she just looked down [and then] she threw her cards up in the air and we're like, 'We'll take that as a yes.'"
The hosts continued to add that Mel B did not reveal more than what she did on-air and she gave no more details even after the cameras stopped rolling.
Loni Love said, "She knew she gave us a whole lot". Jeannie Mai went on to add, "She dragged us for a long time about it. She was like, 'Look what you guys made me do!'"
The hosts of the show were seen in bright, sparkly, co-ordinated gowns while attending the 2018 Daytime Emmy Awards where they received the award for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Hosts. Before attending the prestigious event, the hosts revealed just how excited and honored they felt just to be nominated.
"It just shows that our peers recognize us and we feel that it's a great honor just to be here. That's why we put all the effort into dressing and all of this cause we just wanna show that were appreciative," Loni Love shared.
