LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The moment word spread that 'The Office' would be rebooted, fans went crazy and eager to watch their favorite oddball characters return to the screen.

However, it was eventually revealed that the relaunch would have a completely new storyline set inside the setting of the original series, which left fans heartbroken.

But that doesn't mean fans should give up, since the show will surely radiate its signature humorous charm, which will be a mix of nostalgia, comedy, and heartfelt moments that will keep viewers hooked to their screens.

So, let's talk about five things that avid fans of the successful show want to see on Peacock's spin-off show.

Return of the iconic characters

I mean, it's impossible to picture 'The Office' without the eccentricities of Michael Scott (Steve Carell), romance between Pam Beesly (Jenna Fischer) and Jim Halpert (John Krasinski) or Dwight Schrute's (Rainn Wilson) excessive obsession with beets.

Characters have become very personal to fans, and they have a particular place in their hearts because of their endearing qualities, distinctive eccentricities, and humorous camaraderie with the ensemble cast.

Viewers may feel excited and nostalgic when these characters appear again, even if it's only briefly. It offers a chance to check up with cherished characters, and see their development after the show's conclusion.

Intriguing office dynamics

The iconic comedy was laced with a lot of intricate workplace dynamics, such as Dwight's persistent efforts to seize control from Michael's incorrect leadership.

Just as in the original, fans will enjoy the return of the intricate relationships between colleagues, bosses, and subordinates, with power struggles and alliances developing and collapsing.

It would be wonderful if the reboot continued the legacy of complicated office dynamics, giving a new yet familiar perspective on the intricacies of working relationships.

Mockumentary style

'The Office' stood out from other shows of the time due to its unique mockumentary style, in which a documentary team was represented filming employee's mundane life.

Characters were often shown offering their opinions in an interview, and Jim was frequently caught breaching the fourth wall by directly staring at the camera, which created a feeling of intimacy with the viewers.

Fans would want to see the reintroduction of documentary premise, which was a key component of what made the first series so distinctive and appreciated.

Wacky storylines

It would be great to see the spin-off retain the original series' crazy stories. Remember the iconic 'Office Olympics' or 'The Dundies', the original show was full of wacky storylines.

From the mundane to the bizarre, it would be a treat to see a variety of plots that keep viewers intrigued and speculating about what will happen next in the reboot, much like the original.

Celebrity cameos

'The Office' had a number of notable celebrities as guests, adding extra humor to the show.

You probably still remember the notorious 'Asian Jim' joke that John Krasinski played with Randall Park's assistance and updated it recently during the promotion of his directorial movie 'IF'.

The comedy show had renowned guest actors, including Idris Elba, Amy Adams, Will Ferrell, and Jim Carrey, among others.

Following in the traditions of the original, the reboot should include several celebrity appearances, adding to the show's excitement and humor.
