Regretfully, there has been no news regarding the second part of the film, indicating that a sequel is not on the cards currently.

That doesn't mean there isn't a chance for a second installment, though, as the movie is gaining positive reviews and is predicted to make $40 million at its premiere which may even open the door for the second part.

The film also concludes on a happy note with Bae moving to back to her home and realizing the true identity of Cal, opening up the possibility of a sequel.

The film's sequel can dive deeper into the colorful realm of the IFs, with Bae and Cal reuniting to reconnect IFs with their loving human pals.

In addition, the film may introduce some new characters, such as Bae's friend, who does not believe in the IFs, or another IF who can romance Cal.

Furthermore, the film can be more experimental by including certain rejected IFs who have gone full villainous to avenge their rejection.

There are numerous ideas that can be incorporated into the movie, which is intended to entertain viewers. Regardless, it will be entertaining to see the wonder of IFs on screen again whenever the sequel is made.
