'The OC' star Logan Marshall-Green and Diane Gaeta finalize divorce a year after she accused him of cheating
‘The O.C.’ actor Logan Marshall-Green and his estranged wife, actor Diane Gaeta, reportedly finalized their divorce last Thursday, on July 23. According to People, their divorce judgment was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court.
According to the divorce judgment, 43-year-old Marshall-Green and 40-year-old Gaeta have been awarded joint legal and physical custody of their son, six-year-old Tennessee Logan, and ten-year-old Culla Mae, Gaeta's daughter from a previous relationship.
As part of their settlement agreement, Marshall-Green and Gaeta have been ordered to share information and to “meet and confer in making or modifying major decisions” regarding the health, education, and welfare of the children. The agreement further states that beginning February 1, 2020, Marshall-Green shall pay Gaeta a sum of $4,000 ($2,000 for Culla Mae and $2,000 for Tennessee) as child support.
The amount is, per the agreement, “payable in full on the first (1st) day of each month and continuing until each respective child reaches the age of majority‚ dies, marries, becomes self-supporting, emancipated, reaches the age of eighteen (18), or the age of nineteen (19) if she/he is residing with a parent and attending high school full-time."
Marshall-Green, according to the agreement, is also responsible for maintaining (and paying for) health insurance for “the Minor Children, until child support terminates by operation of law”. Further, starting February 1, 2020, Marshall-Green is liable to pay Gaeta spousal support of $6,000 per month, payable in full on the first day of each month and continuing each month thereafter until “death of either party, [Gaeta]’s remarriage or registration as a domestic partner‚ or December 1, 2021 (32 months total duration from the date of Separation and date of termination), whichever first occurs”.
Spousal support, per the agreement, is non-modifiable in terms of both amount and duration. “December 1, 2021, shall be deemed the non-modifiable termination date of spousal support,” state the documents.
Furthermore, according to the settlement, Marshall-Green and Gaeta have agreed to keep “any and all furniture, furnishings, appliances, artwork‚ jewelry and personal effects” currently in their own custody.
Marshall-Green and Gaeta got married on December 12, 2012, and separated more than six years later on February 1, 2019. The divorce finalization comes more than a year after Gaeta filed for divorce on April 5, 2019, accusing Marshall-Green of cheating on her with actor Sarah Hay.
“I filed for divorce today from [Marshall-Green] because people aren’t always what they seem and to every woman out there: always trust your gut,” Gaeta shared on Instagram April 5, 2019. “And beware of the faux woman champion like [Sarah Hay] because those girls don’t care about sleeping with a married father of two. Peace and Love, thanks for letting me share.”
Marshall-Green has played a leading role in 'Damnation'. He has also been part of the main cast of shows like ' Quarry', 'Dark Blue, 'Traveler', and 'The O.C.' He's also starred in 'Spider-Man: Homecoming', '24', and more. Gaeta's noted roles include films like 'Adopt a Highway', 'Ordinary Lovers', 'Polaris', 'The Chicago 8', and more.
