'The Masked Singer' Season 7 Episode 4: Meet Hydra, Lemur, Ringmaster, Miss Teddy and Armadillo
Season 7 of 'The Masked Singer' kicked off on a pretty dramatic note with the Firefly being rushed off stage for a medical emergency. If you thought that was the wildest thing to happen on the popular FOX show, then you might want to rethink it. The showrunners have been promoting the upcoming 4th episode of 'The Masked Singer' as the 'most insane episode yet' featuring 'one outrageous moment everyone can get behind'!
So, it looks like we have a lot of drama to catch up on as the five performers of Group B fight tooth and nail to earn a spot in the finale. The five performers in Group B are — Team Good's Ringmaster and Armadillo, Team Bad's Hydra, and representing Team Cuddly are Lemur and Miss Teddy. One of these five performers will be competing against Group A's winner Firefly. Firefly defeated Team Good's McTerrier (Duff Goldman), Team Bad’s Ram (Joe Buck), Team Bad’s Cyclops (Jorge Garcia), and Team Cuddly’s Thingamabob (Jordan Mailata) in the previous episodes. Team Good:
Ringmaster
Ever since The Ringmaster's costume was revealed on 'The Masked Singer' fans have been fawning over the cute costume. The Ringmaster features a cat-faced creature wearing a striking top hat on her head. The elaborate red and gold costume features a tent-like structure at the bottom. The Ringmaster can also be seen wearing striped stockings and matching black boots and gloves. The clue package for Ringmaster is still under wraps, so we will have to watch the episode for hints on which celebrity could be hiding underneath the costume.
Armadillo
Armadillo will be joining Ringmaster in representing 'Team Good' in the upcoming episode. Even though 'The Masked Singer's Armadillo is in an elaborate gold costume with gold boots, gloves, and armor, we couldn't help but think of the famous 'Friends' scene when David Schwimmer dressed up as Armadillo! While the clues for Armadillo haven't been disclosed yet, we would love to think that it's the famous 'Friends' star underneath it.
Team Bad:
Hydra
Team Bad's Hydra has the distinction of not only being the biggest costume in 'The Masked Singer's history but also the show's first three-headed dragon. The massive creature with its dark green and purple coloring, scaly skin, horns, and three different sets of colored eyes, definitely grabs everybody's attention. According to reports, owing to the sheer size of the costume, the celebrity underneath the Hydra costume is allowed to get dressed on-stage instead of backstage so that they don't topple over! Considering the creature's three legs, and heads, fans are already beginning to speculate if there's more than one celebrity underneath the huge costume. Since Hydra's clues haven't been disclosed yet either, we'll have to keep our eyes peeled to the show to figure out the identity of the celebrity or celebrities underneath the costume.
Team Cuddly:
Miss Teddy
True to her team's name Miss Teddy is easily one of the cutest costumes of the season. This massive teddy bear costume features light-brown fur on her head, body, and limbs, while her hands have tan soles on the palms. The other details on the costume include a black nose, purple cheeks, a tan mouth, and black eyes with eyelashes. The costume is topped off with a small, pink bow on Miss Teddy's head. Miss Teddy's clue package hasn't been revealed yet, so we will have to watch the show for hints on the celebrity's identity underneath the cute costume.
Lemur
"I'm like a star — shiny and glittery, and I only come out at night," says Lemur in her introduction package. This 9-foot tall creature with shiny tights and sparkly boots is donning the biggest tail in the show's history. Coming to clues we see a ring light, and the Lemur can be heard saying she's here to "defy" her generation. With references to Studio 54 and disco, we wouldn't be surprised if Lemur is an older celebrity.
