'The Masked Singer': Jellyfish eliminated and revealed as Olympian Chloe Kim, says she's sent Ken Jeong a DM

Olympian Chloe Kim emerged from under the Jellyfish mask after being defeated by the Mushroom in the semi-final episode. Who knew she was a Ken Jeong fan!

After Seahorse's elimination being announced and the Crocodile moving on to the finale, it was time for the Jellyfish and the Mushroom to come onto the stage for the second face-off on the December 2 episode of 'The Masked Singer'. Just like the pair that went head to head before them, these two performers too brought it all on the stage in a bid to try and beat the other and make it to the finale for a chance to win the golden mask trophy. 

The Mushroom performed Valerie by Amy Winehouse. Each week this masked performer has made an effort to show that he has many layers to his voice and this week too he did it successfully. He also went ahead to do a little freestyling in the last thirty seconds of his performance, leaving everyone on the judges' panel including guest judge Craig Robinson who was there to promote the new show 'The Masked Dancer,' completely amazed. The Jellyfish too outdid her past performances when she took to the stage to perform 'Stay' by Rihanna, emoting the somberness of the song perfectly. 

It was then time for the judges to make a decision about who stays in the show and they chose the Mushroom to advance to the finale and join the Crocodile, making him another contender for the golden mask trophy. The Jellyfish was up for elimination at the end of the episode and she was revealed as none other than American Olympics snowboarder and gold medalist, Chloe Kim. 

After her unmasking, she also revealed that she turned into a huge fan of judge Ken Jeong after seeing a video of his performance on social media. She also went ahead to send him a DM after watching the video and complained that he didn't read her message, leave alone replying to the same. Ken too said that he admired her as much and that she was a role model for her children.

"Now that I know who Chloe Kim is I would like to see more. She’s so cute #TheMaskedSinger" wrote another. "I would’ve never expected Chloe Kim to be able to sing like that but OKAY you go girl! #TheMaskedSinger" read another tweet. 

'The Masked Singer' airs Wednesdays at 8 pm ET on FOX.
