Britney Spears, with her single residency, has reportedly etched her name in the annals of Las Vegas history. Her estimated earnings stand at a staggering $95.33 million. The two-time Grammy-nominated singer amassed a significant fortune during her 'Piece of Me' residency at Planet Hollywood. The show, which began in December 2013 and concluded in December 2017, comprised 250 performances. It was not only a commercial success but also won the Best of Las Vegas awards in 2015 and 2017. Despite being under a controversial conservatorship during this period, Britney is estimated to have earned around $381k per show, as reported by The Sun.

Jennifer Lopez

With a single residency under her belt, Jennifer Lopez, the famed 'Jenny from the Block' singer, has come a long way from her humble beginnings. Her earnings, amounting to an estimated $97.08 million, are a testament to her journey. At 54, JLo has reportedly raked in just over $97.46 million from ticket sales alone, spanning 121 shows of her 'All I Have' residency between 2016 and 2018. The show, hosted at the Zappos Theatre in Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, grossed just over $804k per performance. With these impressive figures, she reportedly proudly holds the title of the highest-grossing residency by a Latin artist.

Kylie Minogue, the pop sensation, took the spotlight as the inaugural headliner at Voltaire, the newly opened venue at The Venetian Resort. The residency of this Australian singer is set to run from November 2023 through May 2024. Her show, aptly named 'More Than Just A Residency', is a celebration of her latest album, 'Tension'. The 'Padam Padam' hitmaker made her debut on the stage on November 3. Per Mirror, Voltaire, the chic fusion of an intimate club and a ceaseless entertainment hub, accommodates 1,000 guests, ensuring that every night will be a unique experience. According to The Sun's Brand and Culture specialist Nick Ede, this could be the most significant step in Kylie’s career, with the star potentially earning as much as $1.22M per performance. 

Adele

Adele's Las Vegas residency, aptly named 'Weekends with Adele', graces the stage of The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The residency, which kicked off on November 18, 2022, is set to conclude on June 15, 2024, featuring shows every Friday and Saturday night. In a recent announcement, Adele revealed a final extension to her residency at the Colosseum at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. This last chapter of 'Weekends With Adele', which commenced last November, encompasses 32 dates spanning from January to June 2024. Adele reportedly stated that the residency, which garners her a substantial $654,778 per show, has "brought me back to life." Her estimated earnings from this venture are projected to be a whopping $22.36 million.

Celine Dion

With two residencies to her name and estimated earnings of $384.35 million, Celine Dion, aptly known as the Queen of Vegas, unsurprisingly holds the record for the highest-grossing Vegas residency of all time, claimed The Sun. The 55-year-old performer, who has sold over 200 million records globally, initially amassed a staggering approx $365.47 million with her show 'A New Day', which had a successful run from March 2003 to December 2007. Celine graced the stage of The Colosseum at Caesars Palace for 717 shows, captivating a total of 3 million fortunate fans. It's reported that she earned an impressive $509,657.40 per performance. The Canadian songstress made a triumphant return to the strip in March 2011 for another 70 performances of her show 'Celine'. This stint reportedly added $18.94 million to her earnings before concluding in June 2019.

Lady Gaga

With a single residency and estimated earnings of $74.05 million, Lady Gaga, renowned for powerful vocals, made a significant impact on Vegas during her residency that commenced in December 2018. The 37-year-old pop singer, who boasts 17 top 10 hits, raked in an astounding $1.47 million per show during her performance of 'The Enigma' at the Park MGM Hotel and Casino. 

Cher

Cher, one of the most iconic singers of all time, has had three residencies at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, earning her an estimated $142.50 million. Her first residency, 'Cher in Concert', ran from 1979 to 1982, netting the star around $284,726 per week. Over seven weeks, she performed 223 shows, earning $1.96 million in total. In May 2008, the icon returned to the Vegas Strip for her eponymous show, which concluded in February 2011. This show, featuring a troupe of 14 dancers and four aerialists, reportedly grossed over $91.65 million during its run, with around 200 performances. Cher's third residency, 'Classic Cher', took place at the MGM Grand Hotel from February 2017 to February 2020, adding another $48.88 million to her earnings, per The Sun.

Mariah Carey

Her first residency, 'Infinity', ran from May 2015 to July 2017 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. It showcased all 18 of her US number-one singles in chronological order. Despite criticisms for poor vocals and lip-syncing, the 54-year-old singer still managed to earn around $21.76 million. Mariah Carey returned to Caesars Palace for her second residency, 'The Butterfly Returns', from July 2018 to February 2020. This stint reportedly added another $6.60 million to her earnings, averaging around $265,217.40 per show. 

Katy Perry

Originally slated to conclude in January 2022, the popularity of her shows led to the addition of numerous extra dates. The 38-year-old 'Dark Horse' singer has managed to earn approximately $587,830.10 per show, affirming her status in the realm of lucrative Vegas residencies, as reported by The Sun. 

Janet Jackson

With a single residency and estimated earnings of $12.22 million, Janet Jackson reportedly reached new heights in 2019 when she embarked on an 18-day residency at the Park MGM Hotel and Casino. Her stint, aptly named 'Metamorphosis', netted her a substantial $12.22 million, per The Sun. It was a celebration of the 30-year anniversary of 'Rhythm Nation 1814', her fourth studio album released in 1989. At 57, Janet performed a 30-song set list to an audience of over 4,000 fans each night. Her residency apparently stands as one of the most lucrative Vegas performances to date.

Carrie Underwood

The eight-time Grammy winner launched her 'Reflection' residency in 2021, featuring a 90-minute set that highlights her biggest hits from the past 15 years. Due to popular demand, the 40-year-old country singer has extended her current run by adding three new dates in December. Each time she takes the stage, she reportedly earns a substantial $445,993.50, underscoring the lucrative nature of Vegas residencies.
