The Kid Laroi, who parted ways with Scooter Braun, has reportedly come back to him a month after splitting with Adam Leber’s Rebel Management. The Australian crooner was first signed to Braun in June 2021 but left three months later apparently due to “significant problems” with the firm as Braun and his team felt Laroi was “making decisions without consulting him" and reportedly “there was not enough participation from him.”

The ‘Stay’ hitmaker has re-signed a new deal with Scooter Braun who already boasts an impressive roster with the likes of Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, J Balvin, Dan + Shay, and Tori Kelly among others. According to sources, the new deal comes after Laroi and his mother Sloane Howard recently re-approached Braun.

The Kid Laroi re-signs with Scooter Braun

A new condition reportedly came into play that gives Scooter Braun the assurance that he will be directly involved in overseeing all aspects of the artist’s career. According to Variety, Scooter Braun then flew to Australia to see Kid Laroi’s show at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on May 26. The 18-year-old singer-songwriter shot to fame in 2020 after the release of his debut mixtape called “F*CK LOVE” and its hit single, ‘Without You’ which peaked at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100.

Despite the differences in 2021, Scooter Braun in an interview with Billboard praised the young lad saying, “Laroi is a brilliant artist, and I wish him and his family nothing but the best. I’m proud of the historic success we had together in our short time I am rooting for him always, and he knows that.”
