LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The Internet frenzied when they saw an actual real-life Popeye on Reddit. A Reddit user, u/LetterheadTiny6156, created chaos online when he shared the video of the real-life Popeye. The post gained a lot of attention from other users, gaining over 1,000 comments within one week.
However, many users were familiar with him, as the actual name of the famous real-life Popeye is Jeff Dabe. Many users called him "really cool guy" and even the "hero" they needed. One user took to the Reddit thread and wrote, "Yeah he is. Seen him in a few YouTube videos, seems like a really cool guy. As far as I know he's pretty good at it, but it doesn't give him as much of an advantage as you would think."

Another user wrote enlightened with other nicknames of Dabe and wrote, "Jeff Dabe is a popular American Arm Wrestler and also a Heavy Equipment Operator. He is also known as Better known as 'Real life Hulk' 'Popeye' or 'Anaconda' for his monstrous hand. Jeff Dabe has 19 inches (49cm) forearms... His finger is crooked due to arm wrestling injury."
The third user who knew Dabe wrote, "I actually know Jeff in real life. It isn't painful and he actually has had massive arm muscles since he was a small child. He's a heavy machinery operator and competitive arm wrestler plus runs a small hobby farm with his wife. Really nice guy, and he is pretty active on his Facebook page." About Jeff Dabe
Arm wrestling champion, Dabe, 59, is from Minnesota. Dabe's parents took him to the doctor to be tested for gigantism and elephantiasis due to his large arms, but no one was able to offer a medical diagnosis. After acquiring his nickname in high school, he chose to make a profession off of his enormous biceps, as per reports.

Dabe said, "A lot of them, you just kind of see them freeze up for a minute. They don't want to talk." He further added, "I will go through a drive-through window, and I go to hand them my money, and they just kind of freeze up, and it takes them a second, and they will take the money or say something." At last, he said, "It's kind of funny. I know right away when someone notices me, you see it in their face, and they can't quite believe it at first," as reported by DailyStar.
