'The Haves and the Have Nots' Season 8 Premiere: Is Samuel still playing Veronica? Fans say 'get rid of his sidepiece'

Veronica Harrington (Angela Robinson) is back to her usual antics as we return to the eighth season of 'The Haves and Have Nots' with its premiere episode. When we last saw her, Veronica was lusting after the married pool boy, Samuel (Adrian Conrad). Before Samuel himself knows it, he has fallen into Veronica's trap of having him for herself.

After spending part of the night together, however, Samuel goes back to his wife and Veronica knows that he has stolen some money from her, wondering why all the pretty ones are "dumb," prompting one fan to say, "Well, Veronica right about one thing: Sam is dumb. #HAHN."

When Veronica tries to convince Samuel to leave his wife, he remarks that his wife will not leave him. Seeing as how he left Veronica to be by his wife's side at the end of the night, fans believe that Veronica could already be scheming to end their marriage. A fan tweeted, "Veronica gonna destroy their marriage, drop them and move on. #HAHN." Another fan warned, "Sammie boy Veronica is serious. You better get rid of ur side piece before Veronica get rid of her for you #HAHN."

So, now that we know for sure that Veronica knows that Samuel is still playing her, what do we expect her next move to be? We know that she is not going to let go of her new plaything so easily. In fact, one viewer already guessed what Veronica's gameplan will be and it is as classic as a soap opera plotline can get. The fan wrote, "Oh lordy Veronica's going to have that girl dressed up in her clothes driving her car and have her go flying through the windshield to her death. #HAHN."

One thing is for sure, however. Veronica is one of the most compelling characters on television. A fan tweeted, "Hate her or love her, Veronica is one of the best villains on TV right now. #HAHN." Given that Samuel called Veronica and "old broad," we are certain that Samuel could meet with a messy end.

'The Haves and the Have Nots' airs on Oprah Winfrey Network on Tuesday nights at 8/7c.
