‘The Good Doctor’ Season 3 Episode 12: Dr Audrey Lim to be back in business and with a bang
It’s been a while since we have seen Christina Chang in action on ABC’s hit medical drama 'The Good Doctor'.
Since ‘The Good Doctor’ went on its mid-season break this holiday season, Dr Audrey Lim (played by Chang) has also been off the story. In fact, we haven’t seen her for quite a few episodes now and have been wondering what happened to the Chief of Surgeons of San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital. But now, as the trailer of Episode 12 shows, Dr Lim will be back to business and with a bang.
In the upcoming chapter of our doctors’ journey, she will be seen dealing with a very complicated case of a patient, along with our regulars - Dr Shaun Murphy, Dr Claire Browne, and Dr Melendez. The last time we got a glimpse of her was when she broke up with Dr Neil Melendez and was struggling to balance her break up and work. Since then, we have been wondering if she took up another residency at a different hospital or is it just the writers of the show not creating the right kind of plot for her.
It is always exciting to see the leading female doctor take her leadership role forward and guide everyone with her exceptional approach to problems and her compassion as a doctor. And this week, we will finally get to see her.
Elsewhere, the upcoming episode will also be quite intense for Shaun and Carly. The couple has been having a lot of troubles lately, starting from their axed intimate life to Shaun’s sudden closeness to Lea. Although they manage to sort their issues out by discussing it at length, a serious medical case will see those differences arising again. As we see in the trailer, Shaun will resort to Carly for some last-minute intervention on a case (the same case Dr Lim will also be a part of) and this will probably create a rift. Whether it is the hidden disappointment that Carly has towards Shaun (for feeling intimate with Lea) or their work ethics, a fight is about to ensue between the two.
