Did The Game INSULT Jay Z over Super Bowl snub? Rapper says 'I control my own narrative'
The 2022 edition of the Super Bowl Halftime show saw the West Coast rappers taking over the stage on February 13, Sunday at SoFi Stadium. The impressive line-up included Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, 50 Cent, and Mary J. Blige but did not include another West Coast stalwart The Game. Soon, a new controversy surfaced on the Internet that The Game allegedly took a dig at his arch-rival Jay Z over not being included in the Super Bowl halftime show.
It was reported that The Game apparently during a conversation slammed Jay Z who had curated the line-up for the Super Bowl LVI. The Game’s manager Wack 100 had first made the claims on the Clubhouse app that gave birth to the new controversy. Wack 100 later denied his statements with The Game soon following pursuit. The West Coast rapper took to his Instagram over the weekend and cleared the air on the entire situation.

How did the controversy start?
The Game’s manager Wack 100 while interacting on the Clubhouse app recently hinted that The Game and Jay got into a heated argument ahead of the Halftime show. “That’s why The Game wasn’t on the s**t because Game told that [n-word] to suck his d**k like 18 hours ago.” When another individual on the app asked to shed more light on the incident, Wack apparently added, “Game told the [n-word] JAY-Z to suck his d**k, my [n-word]”, as reported by HipHopDX.
However, Wack 100 soon took a U-turn on his comments and claimed that his statements were taken out of context. Commenting on a social media post of HipHopDX, Wack 100 said, “NEVER SAID THIS I NEVER SAID HE SAID THIS ABOUT THE SUPER BOWL — STOP TWISTING SHIT – SAY WHAT REAL MISS US WITH THE FAKE S**T,” adding, “I ADDRESSED AN OLD SONG OF 10 YEARS – NOBODY NEVER SAID THE GAME MADE THIS.” On the work front, The Game is currently busy finishing his new album, ‘Drillmatic’, which will feature production from Kanye West, Hit-Boy and others.
