'The Courtship': Peter Saffa loses focus and flirts with Tessa Cleary

Episode 3 of NBC's 'The Courtship' was all fun and games (literally) up until we spotted a delighted Peter Saffa sitting across from Tessa Cleary, Nicole Remy's best friend and sharing small talk. Was that all to it? Probably not.

Saffa is as cocky as it gets and tells Tessa, "It's been a while since I had some alone time with a pretty girl." What's more, when Tessa asked if Nicole is his type, he said, "Not right off the bat" and added that his type is someone with "dirty blonde hair". He also said "I don't think so" when Tessa asked him if he sees himself with Nicole in the future. Well, big ups to the rest of the suitors on the reality dating show!

As per the general rule of thumb and the girl code, Tessa proceeds to tell Nicole of the events that occurred during the day. Both the girls, along with Nicole's sister, Danie, sit down to discuss the highlight of the game day. 

Tessa begins, "I had a great talk with Mr. Saffa, but not in the way that we want."

While the girls were sharing serious talks, the men in the chamber were curious to know more from Saffa about his encounter with Tessa. He seems ecstatic when he says, "I was just chatting with Tessa a little bit, and I feel some stuff going on." He also told the guys that he thinks Tessa flirted back, although she only asked questions with regard to Nicole. 

What's more, Saffa definitely thinks he had a connection with Tessa and is interested to know more about her.

The rest of the suitors seem thrown off and scared for Saffa, but commend him for having admitted his feelings. Shanklin adds that Saffa flirting with the best friend, who's looking to find the man of Nicole's dreams isn't going to end well for him.

After the moment of truth, Nicole's "I don't appreciate being played" will stand testament to Saffa's behavior. What will happen now?
