'The Courtship': A row boating experience challenges suitors to impress Remy's parents
The recent episode of NBC's 'The Courthsip' saw a different yet wholesome take on wooing a charming young woman. The episode, titled 'Act of Chivalry,' required Remy's suitors to row her family members across the Great Lake. This is their moment to shine and impress her folks.
Knowing that he'd get to escort the lady's parents, a rather cocky Peter Saffa takes off his shirt going by the "sun's out, guns out" logic. His sense of humor floored Remy's parents, with Mrs. Claire saying, "I'm about to swoon". Saffa seems to have hit it off with the seniors already. What about the rest of the suitors? Along with Safffa and Remy's parents, there is the ever-so-charismatic Captain Danny Kim on the boat. When asked about his views on relationships, Kim reflects on his Asian background with a strong upbringing. He also adds that he grew up watching the constant love and respect his parents had for one another, thereby setting the bar high for him when it comes to choosing the right partner.
On the boat, escorting the lady of the night herself is Daniel Bochicchio. The chemistry between the two is already intense what with their one-on-one date complete with fireworks and sharing a kiss. But Nate Shanklin jumps on their boat to try and impress Remy, thereby busting Bochicchio's plans.
While all seems well with the others, there are a few suitors who aren't escorting any of the court members; the real-life, 'three men in a boat' situation presents themselves! Christian Lee Cones, Lincoln Chapman, and Derrek Kessler decide to step up their game and awkwardly serenade Remy, singing "Row, row, row the boat". In addition, they take it up a notch by jumping off the boat into the lake in her honor! It looks like every man is shooting their shot with the lovely, Nicole Remy. Who among them will stand out?
