According to TV listings, 'The Blacklist' Season 8 returns with its Episode 8 next Friday, February 26, at its usual 8 pm time slot on NBC. Fans of the show must be counting their stars because while other procedurals, legal, and crime dramas are taking every alternate week off air, 'The Blacklist' has been consistent. Having premiered in November 2020, the show went on a break just two episodes into this final season, before returning two months later, in January 2021 with the rest of it. Since its winter premiere, the show has consistently aired every Friday night and looks like it will keep up its promising deliveries until April, when it finally wraps.

As for spoilers, the coming episode, titled 'Ogden Greeley' Original will see "The Task Force investigates the apparent disappearance of a defense contractor. Cooper receives an unexpected offer and Red makes a connection." And this particular unexpected offer Cooper receives makes us think Liz might make him her next target in her mission to take down Red. We already know Liz is extensively recruiting blacklisters as opposed to catching them, and as fate would have it, she's proving to be fairly good at it too.
With her seeking the Wellstone Agency's translation help, speculation runs rife that she might be teaming up with her legal father Constantin Rostov, or Alexander Kirk, whom viewers might remember as someone devoted to Katarina. The official synopsis for tonight's Episode 7, 'Chemical Mary' reveals that "The Task Force must race to stop simultaneous danger presented by two blacklisters." One of them is expected Liz, could the other one be the return of her father? More importantly, should Liz and Constantin join forces, will Red be able to fight their joint powers? Next week shall tell.
