Actor Clark Middleton died on October 4, 2020. Some might remember him as a bellhop from here, an airport cab driver from there, but to fans of The Blacklist, he will be fondly remembered as Glen Carter. For those who don't remember, Glen was the DMV worker who used to moonlight as a tracker and was a beloved friend of Red's (James Spader) on the NBC crime drama that's finally airing the tribute episode dedicated to him, four months after his death. And spoiler alert, but an exclusive clip released by Entertainment Tonight helps us finally know how the Glen tribute is going to pan out. Even in his death, Glen decided to play a masterstroke and task Red with something the criminal mastermind would never imagine doing by himself in a million years.

'The Blacklist' Season 8 Episode 4: Was Red training Liz to become a Russian spy all along? Fans think so

According to the official synopsis of the episode, Season 8 Episode 6 titled 'The Wellstone Agency' sees "Red and Dembe go to great lengths to fulfill the final wishes of a dear friend. Aram goes undercover as an interpreter to a company that provides services to criminals, while Park helps a friend in trouble."

James Spader as Red talking to Huey Lewis to play at Glen's memorial service on 'The Blacklist' (NBC)

The sneak peek teased by ET however takes us straight to the memorial service organized for Red's friend Glen, but before that can happen, Red must reunite with an old enemy of his. And who would it be other than the Huey Lewis. That's right, musician Huey Lewis playing at his funeral was Glen's final wish and Red cannot grant his dear old friend that. The clip shows Red visiting Lewis to talk about an appearance and absurd and out of the place that it might be, it's touching how given the predicament he's in with Liz, Red is still not deterring from catering to his other friends.

There's no reason why Lewis should be agreeing to this at all, or so we thought. Red managed to get a hold of the 'Power of Love' singer purely out of connections on the job and what better way to bid a final goodbye to a friend who's done so much than get him serenaded as a eulogy. The other thing that makes this so special is just how Glen managed to be persistent pain in the ass -- the good kind -- to Red, and even in death, he had one last fist bump of triumph over his rustled friend.
