There's plenty of drama around 'The Bachelorette' Season 17, not only on-screen but also off-screen. While the season's leads- Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia are still wrapping their heads around being rejected by their suitors, the two ladies have yet another controversy awaiting them, with respect to one of their suitors Nate Mitchell.

According to reports, the fan-favorite contestant was reportedly two-timing his ex-girlfriend Kelsey Frankhauser and even hid information about his daughter from her. Frankhauser took to her TikTok to reveal in a clip that she cried over Nate after finding out the truth about him on the ABC show. She wrote, "I cried for a guy who kept his kid a secret from me for 1.5 years when we were dating and I found out on reality TV." Nate became an instant hit amongst fans after he got emotional about being a proud girl-dad to his daughter, which sparked a connection with Gabby.

"She is my world. Like, a pocket of my heart just burst open for the first time when she said, ‘Dad’ [and] the first time she told me she loved me,” the 33-year-old said on the show. Considering how proud Nate is of his daughter, it came as a surprise to many when they learned that Nate hid about his daughter from Frankhauser. Later, Frankhauser told Reality Steve that Nate not only hid his daughter from her during their 1.5-year relationship but was also allegedly dating someone else while he was still with her. 

On the website, the spoiler king shared the screenshots of the alleged messages between Frankhauser and a woman named Laree Starke, who was reportedly dating Nate while he was in an exclusive relationship with Frankhauser. Frakhauser explained that she decided to share her side of the story to "prevent another girl from being blindsided by his (Nate) secrecies. 'The Bachelorette' fans were taken aback on learning about Nate's player past and took to Twitter to not only call him out, but also slam the show's casting choices. 

A fan tweeted, "I find it hilariously ironic that everyone loved Nate on #TheBachelorette because he said there should be no conditions to love Now he’s in trouble because he told two women he loved them There are NO CONDITIONS! Not even already having a girlfriend!" "At this point it’s an insult to my intelligence for producers to pretend like they didn’t know this shit about Nate before casting him. They ask for your entire dating history. You talk with a psychologist. You do drug tests. They knew. Just didn’t care. #TheBachelorette," wrote a fan. Another fan commented, "Nate being a cheater feels like a personal attack,,,, men rlly do be all the same #thebachelorette."

"Cannot believe what I've read about Nate on @RealitySteve !! Was rooting for him. Now, I truly hope Gabby doesn't choose him or worse he becomes the Bachelor #TheBachelorette," expressed a fan. "Are we sure Nate didn't mean to apply for Fboy Island instead? #TheBachelorette #FBoyIsland @hbomax @fboyisland @BacheloretteABC," mocked a fan. Another fan declared, "Well never freaking mind because I just read about Nate being absolutely garbage and let's just cancel this whole season. Fire the production team because this is raggedy. #TheBachelorette."

We can't wait to see how Gabby reacts to these allegations against her top pick.
