Jubilee Sharpe from 'The Bachelor' and 'Bachelor in Paradise' arrested and charged for DUI in Florida
Former contestant of 'The Bachelor' and 'Bachelor in Paradise' Jubilee Sharpe was arrested on Sunday at 6.33 am and charged with DUI according to police records online. Sharpe refused to do a urine or blood test and was released later in the day.
According to a report in People, Sharpe's arraignment is expected to be held on March 9 as she was released on her own recognizance at 11.59 am on the same day. Her arrest was made at West Palm Beach in Florida. There has been no response from police officials as of now regarding the incident or Sharpe's arrest.
Sharpe had contested in 'The Bachelor' in 2016 and she was eliminated from the show in the sixth week. She also participated in 'Bachelor in Paradise' Season 3 and was eliminated in the first week. She reappeared in season 5 of the same show, however, she quit in week 3.
Sharpe, in a conversation with Ben Higgins on the show, revealed about her family and her past but it was in an interview with People later that she confessed, "I told Ben the story of my family, but I left out the biggest part,”
Sharpe, who was born in Haiti said, “My three brothers and my parents died, but I don’t know the details. I was 6, but I don’t remember my parents. My 4-year-old little sister and I went to live with my grandmother but she had leprosy and was dying and too sick to take care of us. So she put me and my little sister in an orphanage.”
