DENVER, COLORADO: The Denver Broncos marked their recent victory over Travis Kelce's team with a unique twist, playing Taylor Swift's hit song 'Shake It Off'. This unexpected selection of a victory song has since ignited a wave of responses on the internet.

The pop singer did not attend the Chiefs star's game on Sunday, October 29. After Denver's 24-9 victory, Empower Field at Mile High played her song 'Shake It Off" on the speakers for the fans.

Numerous videos from the stadium captured the moment as players exchanged handshakes and fireworks lit up the sky behind the scoreboard. The choice of music at the venue echoed that of Globe Life Field on Friday, where Kelce was seen dancing to the same song during Game 1 of the World Series.

The Broncos continued their momentum against the Chiefs, breaking free from a 16-game losing streak against their AFC West adversaries, and they didn’t miss the chance to celebrate fittingly

Publications such as Marca have reported that Kelce's performance tends to falter when the pop star is not present to cheer him on. They noted that the widely recognized player appeared visibly upset and retreated to the locker room as soon as the game ended. 

Swift, who had been present at four out of the last five games of the Chiefs and witnessed four wins, was not anticipated to travel to Denver as she was gearing up for the resumption of her Eras Tour on November 9 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

In the past, she had been a spectator at Kelce's matches against the Chargers, Broncos, Jets, and Bears. The 34-year-old tight end managed to secure 34 catches, averaging 108 yards per game in those four victories, per the New York Post. 

As the stadium's speakers began playing Swift’s 'Shake It Off', home fans joyously danced, celebrating the team's first win over Kansas City since 2015.

Intriguingly, Taylor Swift has been seen at numerous games featuring Travis Kelce, sparking speculation about a possible romantic link between them. This added a fascinating twist to the Broncos' selection of the song.
