During the very first season of Bravo's reality drama show, Teresa Giudice lost her temper while dining with fellow housewife Danielle Staub. She lifted and flipped the table in a fit of rage while yelling at Danielle. 

Ever since, Giudice has been a 'magnet for drama' on the show, as ScreenRant refers to her. Behind her temperamental and unpredictable personality, she is a doting mother of four, presently enjoying her post-divorce phase.

As per ScreenRant, Giudice's present net worth as of 2020 end is estimated at a whopping $11 million, making her one of the richest housewives starring in the show. 

The 48-year-old reality TV star likes to maintain quite the flamboyant lifestyle. During the marriage with ex-husband Joe Giudice, the couple resided in a 10,000 square feet mansion in Montville, New Jersey, comprising of six bedrooms, five bathrooms, an enormous chandelier, a swimming pool, and a Cinderella staircase.

After her divorce, Teresa put the house on market and it is presently listed at $2.25 million. She also drives luxury cars and keeps her luxury game always on top.



 

Most of her wealth came from the reality show, as she reportedly makes $62,000 per episode. However, unknown to many is that Giudice has a degree in Fashion Marketing from Berkeley College before her rise to fame. She had even worked for Vogue and Macy's as an accessories buyer, and also as a blogger for People. 

Later, she has been featured on the covers of top lifestyle magazines like US Weekly, People, OK Magazine, and Life & Style. Giudice is also a New York Times bestselling author, with seven books to her name, including four cookbooks. Her jewelry line 'TG Fabulicious' is also famous for its fashionable merchandise.



 

Controversies and present situation

In 2009, Teresa and Joe Giudice had filed for bankruptcy after being in over $11 million in debt. In 2013, both of them were charged with bank fraud, mail fraud, bankruptcy fraud, making false statements on loan applications, and a total of 39 counts of conspiracy in total. The following year, they pleaded guilty to 41 counts of fraud, and Teresa was sentenced to 15 months in prison. 

From January 5, 2015, to December 23, 2015, Teresa Giudice served her imprisonment sentence with the last four months under house arrest. However, things started to look up financially for her after that, and by now she has again amassed such a huge fortune.

In September 2020, Teresa and Joe Giudice finalized their divorce, after eight months of separation. Most of Season 10 of RHONJ focused on their divorce, while the upcoming season will feature her new boyfriend Luis 'Louie' Ruelas.
