Season two of 'Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant' is set to air on October 22, and this means fans are in for a lot more drama, emotional rollercoasters, and bittersweet memories. In the first season of the show, fans got to witness Ashley Jones and Bariki "Bar" Smith's relationship go through various ups and downs.

The reality star had to find a balance between becoming a new mom and trying to work things out with her boyfriend. However, the two finally came to the conclusion that it was in the best interest of both of them to head their separate ways.

While the two might have had their differences, it seems like taking time apart did them good. Speaking exclusively to MEA WorldWide (MEAWW), Ashley reflected on her relationship with Bar.

The reality star shared that despite their difference of opinion, at the end of the day they are parents to a beautiful daughter, Holly and it makes them work things out.

"I would say that I love Bar very much and we are parents and we try to be the best parents that we can be," she said. Ashley added that things turned out to work out perfectly for them even though they decided to head their separate ways.

"I would say we are in a really good place now, and we are just always trying to move forward," she said. Even though the two often had different opinions about how their daughter should be raised, they seemed to have met at a common ground.

It looks like they have come to an understanding that they both know what is best for their daughter. "He is her dad and he is capable of dealing with her and dealing with his family how he sees fit. So, I let him do that and I match myself accordingly," she said.

'Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant' returns to MTV on October 22 at 9 pm.
