'Full Speed' joins Prime Video's latest addition to shows dealing with life in the last lane. The NASCAR and Words+Pictures series finds a new home after airing the first two seasons on Netflix. A full-length feature Season 3 vrooms in on March 5 on the streamer, with Seasons 1 and 2 rolling in as well. Season 1 premiered in January 2024, focusing on the 2023 cup series. Season 2 arrived in May last year with the spotlight on the 2024 playoffs. The new instalment will explore the behind-the-scenes of the 2026 Daytona 500 from February.

Per the press release, the official logline reads, "Full Speed: The Daytona 500 captures all the madness of the race in a feature-length documentary that takes audiences inside NASCAR’s crown jewel like never before. The film delivers an unfiltered look at the biggest race and the best drivers on the planet. According to Variety, the film is "an in-depth dive into the lives of Kyle Busch, Connor Zilisch, Brad Keselowski, and Noah Gragson — their teams; their families; and their sacrifices — building toward the most pressure-filled day of the season."

'Full Speed' is produced by Tim Mullen and Jackie Decker, with the duo also serving as directors. The list of executive producers includes Tim Clark, John Dahl, Tally Hair, Ben Kennedy, Connor Schell, Aaron Cohen, and Nick Eisenberg. The race last month was unpredictable, and in the end, Tyler Reddick led for only one lap —the one that mattered as he navigated his way through an intense, wreck-filled final run to claim his first Daytona win. The win also marked the first for 23XI Racing, co-owned by Michael Jordan and 3x Daytona 500 winner Denny Hamlin.

This time, the feature film will also likely capture Reddick’s 11th career Cup victory, and the second overall at COTA. The driver led a race-high 58 of 95 laps, controlled the final restart on Lap 79, and fended off one of the best road-course racers in Shane van Gisbergen, who was chasing a sixth consecutive road-course victory. For the first half of the final 16-lap green-flag run, van Gisbergen was in a strong position before Reddick’s No. 45 Toyota Camry gradually pushed up the hill.

On the show front, Seasons 1 and 2 each comprised 5 episodes, with a runtime of approximately 50 minutes each. The new season premieres in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. The previous seasons were smash hits with the fans, prompting an immediate season order and an early release date. Only time will tell if 'Full Speed' Season 3 continues to enthrall NASCAR faithful the way its predecessors did. 'Full Speed: The Daytona 500' drops March 5 on Prime Video.
