Tee Grizzley's manager and aunt dead after drive-by shooting, rapper's condition unknown
DETROIT, MICHIGAN: Rapper Tee Grizzley's car was reportedly shot at in a drive-by shooting, which has led to the death of his manager, who is also his aunt. While there has been no official confirmation from Grizzley's side, various media reports suggest the manager suffered fatal injuries.
According to a report in Urbanislandz, sources were quoted as saying the drive-by shooting was targeted at the Detroit rapper and his manager was an accidental victim of the shooting. So far, it has not been confirmed if Grizzley has been hurt in the shooting and updates regarding the same are awaited.
Back in March 2017, when Grizzley introduced his aunt as the person who would manage his career, he took to Facebook to post a message which read, "My manager, My Aunty, My Big Homie, if you die, I can’t tell the story cause I’m dying wit [you]."
Fans have since taken to Twitter to send their prayers to Grizzley and his family. One of them tweeted, "#TeeGrizzley’s Car was allegedly shot at and manager killed in Detroit. Sending Prayers over to him and his family."
The Bushman Show also tweeted, "RIP Jobina 'JB' Brown who managed #TeeGrizzley. Story is still developing on Tee’s car being shot up and her death. She was a wonderful and thoughtful person."
Another fan tweeted, "Prayers for @Tee_Grizzley and condolences on his manager/auntie. 2019 has been such a f***** up year.. #TeeGrizzley." Grizzley recently collaborated with Sada Baby for a song titled 'Next Up'. The song was posted on SoundCloud just hours before the drive-by shooting.
