Will Taylor Swift be the 'godmother' to Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid's baby?
Good news! Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid are expecting a little bundle of joy. If reports are to be believed, the 25-year-old model is pregnant and the father of the child is her on-again-off-again boyfriend Zayn. No sooner did the news hit social media, fans couldn't believe it and have been showering blessings on the couple. Moreover, they seem to have even found the perfect godmother to the unborn child — and it is none other than singing sensation Taylor Swift.
According to TMZ, a source said, "Gigi is 20 weeks along. It's unclear if they know the sex of the baby yet, but both of their families are very excited." However, the source did not reveal any information about the sex of the yet-to-be-born child.
"Make Taylor Swift the godmother!" one said and another posted, "'My father is Zayn Malik', 'my mother is Gigi Hadid' 'my godmother is Taylor Swift' this child isn't even born yet and I'm already jealous of it."
One wrote, "This baby already has Zayn as father, Gigi as mother, Bella Hadid and Dua Lipa as aunts, Taylor Swift as godmother, Kardashians as friends, me as a well wisher...talk about being privileged huh," and another said, "The baby is gonna have Zayn Malik the father, Gigi Hadid the mom, Bella Hadid and Anwar Hadid the biological aunt/uncle, Taylor Swift the fairy GodMother, One direction as his uncles and wait the Genesssssssss."
There were several other fans who thought the same. "And if Gigi asks Taylor Swift to be her/his godmother IM DEAD YALL," one tweet read and another said, "The way Taylor Swift is gonna be a godmother again and get a notice before me." Another said, "And imagine if Taylor Swift was the godmother. Literally that baby took all my luck and everyone else’s."
While most believe that the baby will be "beautiful," others can't stop cracking jokes about how it is all because of the quarantine. "That's what the quarantine does to ppl," one posted and another wrote, "Jesus, that baby is going to be BEAUTIFUL!" One went on to say, "Can I just say that child is going to be a work of art, I don't think us mortals will have the ability to even look at them because my god that beauty is gonna blind us."
The pair recently celebrated Gigi's 25th birthday, along with Hadid’s sister Bella. She had uploaded a boomerang of the trio on her Instagram. The caption read: "The sweetest day celebrating my 25th birthday with my quarantine family." Moreover, Swift sent her best for her friend on her birthday too with a large bouquet of flowers and Gigi thanked her, saying, "@taylorswift @joe alwyn (+cats) love n appreciate uuuuu."
With their special bond, it seems like the 'Love Story' singer could indeed be the fairy godmother to the little child.
