'They wouldn't give me a towel': Taylor Swift fan Maria Santora has worst night ever after being puked on at her concert
FOXBOROUGH, MASSACHUSETTS: Taylor Swift fan Maria Santora opened up about her "devastating" encounter during the singer's concert, where she ended up covered in someone else's vomit and with security refusing to assist her. Santora claimed that she had the "worst" experience attending the performance after driving from North Carolina to Boston to see the artist perform.
Santora, a 28-year-old from North Carolina, described her experience at the 'Era's Tour' on TikTok, calling it the "worst" and said that the night ended with her in tears. The ABC Sports broadcaster confessed she spent about $500 to see the 'Shake It Off' singer but was very let down in a viral video that has received over 800k views. Santora said she was in the floor area of the Gillette Stadium in Boston when a fan next to her threw up on her, covering her from head to toe in puke.

'I had puke on my face, in my hair, all over my clothes'
Santora said, "I had one of the worst experiences at The Era's Tour night one at Gillette Stadium, I had the night to sleep on it but I'm still really devastated this morning." She went on to say that she "worked incredibly hard" to get tickets to the performance and that she "spent $450" on floor tickets.
Santora said, "I went by myself, I wasn't able to secure a second ticket to take my sister, or my friends so I was in there by myself." Regarding getting puked on by a stranger, she said, "Unfortunately for her and for me, she didn't really have anywhere to go when she started getting sick so she got sick on me."
Santora added, "I had puke on my face, in my hair, all over my clothes. So I go up to several security guards, and am like, 'Can someone please help me? Can someone get me towels?' I had puke all over me, and security was not helpful. They wouldn't give me a towel."
'To miss an entire Era... is devastating'
Santora continued by saying that there were just hand dryers in the restroom and that none of the food sellers had any napkins, so she was unable to get towels to clean herself. She claimed that she got up from her seat to ask for assistance, but the security, who she had also sought assistance from, screamed at her for getting up from her seat.
Santora said, "He starts screaming at me, he's like, 'You can't be here, you are not allowed in between the pink lines of the tape. And I'm crying and I'm like, 'I can't go back to my seat, there's throw up on my seat.' And he's like, 'Well then go clean it, you are not allowed in between the pink lines of the tape'."
Santora shared that she missed an entire album's worth of songs while looking for napkins. She said, "To miss an entire Era, approximately six to seven songs, is devastating." She clarified that while she didn't hold Taylor or the sick fan responsible for her condition, she did hold security accountable for refusing to help.
'I just hate that security screamed at me rather than helped me'
Santora said. "I am upset that when I needed help, nobody knew how to help me, people were just kind of staring at me. And in the process, I miss a chunk of the show." She described having vomit all over her brand-new Taylor sweatshirt as the "icing on the cake," and even claimed that she had been assured she could get a new one and felt misled.

Santora said, "I got puke on my new sweatshirt, I was told to go to merchandise at the end of the show to swap it out. I went to merchandise at the end of the show, and they said, 'We are not taking your sweatshirt, we can't give you a new one because we can't sell yours and make a profit off of it anymore'."
Santora claimed that the couple sitting next to her helped wipe her down with their own clothes, which was the only way she was able to get clean. "I just hate that security screamed at me rather than helped me," she said.
'Bodily fluids should be taken care of asap'
Many people reacted to the TikTok video as one person wrote, "Literally that is so bad… like bodily fluids should be taken care of asap." Another person wrote, "I would call the security office and let them know that no one helped you... At the very least they need to know that some security didn't do their job."
A third person wrote, "You're better than me I would definitely blame the girl." This other person wrote, "You handled this with much more grace than I would've. I'm so sorry that happened to you, someone should’ve been able to get you paper towels."
