Taylor Swift ecstatic as Eras tour's overseas dates announced, promises 'lots more international dates soon'

Eras tour, which began in March, will see Taylor Swift performing 44 songs on her setlist spanning her career

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Taylor Swift is ecstatic that the Eras tour's overseas dates have just been announced. The 'Karma' singer will be accompanied by Sabrina Carpenter whose most recent album 'Emails I Can't Send' was released last year. Carpenter will serve as Swift's opening act.

"Really thrilled to tell you this!! Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil: We are bringing the Eras tour to you this year! Sweet angel princess @sabrinacarpenter will be joining us on all of the shows!" Swift wrote on social media. "Visit taylorswift.com/tour for more information on your registrations, pre-sales, and on-sales."



 

'Lots more international dates to come soon'

The 33-year-old Grammy-winning won't be stopping with it, but has "lots more international dates to come soon," she promises.  Swift is currently halfway through her Eras tour in the US. This weekend, she will play three more performances in Chicago. The tour, which began in March, will see Swift performing 44 songs on her setlist spanning her career. It will finish on August 9 in Los Angeles. Miles Teller, Drew Barrymore, Reese Witherspoon, and Paul Rudd have all been featured during her star-studded performances which typically last three hours. During the tour, she also sparked dating rumors with 'The 1975' lead Matty Healy.

'International Swifties are very happy now'

The announcement has left Swift's fans excited. "So happy for the South American Swifties!!," a user wrote on Twitter, and "SCREAMING CRYING," wrote another. "WE LOVE YOU TAYLOR," wrote one more. "International Swifties are very happy now! Yayyyyy," noted another.



 



 



 



 

'I’m crying, love you queen!!!!'

More users wrote, "Wow, sounds like you're in for an exciting year of concerts! Music and live performances can be great ways to boost your mood and feel connected with others. Enjoy the experience and have fun!" One more user said that he was crying, "I’M CRYING LOVE YOU QUEEEEEN!!!!," and "TE AMO VEM," wrote another. 



 



 



 

'We've all waited for this moment'

"OH MY GOD TAYLOR AND SABRINA.. WE’VE ALL WAITED FOR THIS MOMENT. SWIFTIES AND CARPENTERS STAND UP!," one excited fan wrote. 



 

In between dates, she's been seen at Electric Lady Studios in New York City several times. The 'Anti-Hero' singer also recently released a deluxe edition of her latest album 'Midnights (Til Dawn Edition)' which includes a remix of 'Karma' featuring rapper Ice Spice, a new, longer version of 'Snow on the Beach' with additional vocals from Lana Del Rey and 'Hits Different' which was previously released as a 'Target' exclusive track. Swift is also preparing to release 'Speak Now (Taylor's Version)' on July 7 which will comprise six brand-new songs from her archives per People.
