Taylor Kinney had nothing but good things to say about his ex Lady Gaga, who is starring in the critically acclaimed ‘A Star Is Born’ which was just released this weekend. After five years together and a devastating breakup, both artists have continued to be in support of each other and their careers. After the release of ‘A Star Is Born,’ it’s very clear to the world that Gaga has much more to offer than catchy dance tunes.
After her standout performance in the film, some say that Gaga might even be nominated for an Academy Award. MEAWW spoke to Kinney at the 2018 Carousel of Hope Ball at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California who couldn’t have sent more praise his ex-fiance’s way. “I haven’t seen it but I’ve heard nothing but great reviews. I couldn’t be more proud. I hope it exceeds all of their expectations, critics, fans and of course her and Bradley.”

Kinney certainly is familiar with success, as he was one of the original stars of the legendary series ‘Chicago Fire.’ With three spin-offs in only the span six years, Kinney was an instrumental part of the show’s success.
“I have been on such a run and it's been such a whirlwind. I try to be as objective as possible, and I know that I am very fortunate to do what I do and be a part of something that has the legs and longevity that it has now. We have spin-offs, we almost had four! To be to be a part of something from the beginning, I take stock and pride in that. To have the backing of someone like a Dick Wolf and NBC from the get-go and to be part of that from the jump and to be a part of something successful has been amazing. Now we are in season seven, I’m living the dream.”
The Carousel of Hope Ball he was attending is a bi-annual event that raises money to cure children’s diabetes. Philanthropist Barbara Davis has put on the event for close to forty years and every year she honors a different celebrity for their work in philanthropy, this year honoring Robert De Niro. Kinney is a big supporter of the cause and even donated a couple of items to be auctioned.
