T.I.'s daughter Deyjah Harris, 18, has unfollowed her father on social media after he recently admitted that he takes her on annual trips to the gynecologist to ensure that her hymen is intact.
The 39-year-old rapper spoke out on the 'Ladies Like Us' podcast and shared that it is extremely important to him that his 18-year-old daughter is a virgin. The shocking confession sparked outrage and backlash as horrified social media users called out his sickening and shocking behavior.
While the story made headlines, Deyjah had liked tweetswhich called her father 'disgusting', 'possessive', and 'controlling'. It now looks like, Deyjah has chosen to unfollow her famous father on Twitter and Instagram. It is not clear when exactly Deyjah stopped following her father on social media.
Fans and followers have assumed that she stopped following the rapper after he made the controversial comments. She is also no longer following her mother Tiny Harris.
We had previously reported that many fans and followers flooded social media with messages of support and encouraged her to speak out and tell her side of the story. Deyjah told her followers on Twitter, "I loveeeeeee yalllllll' and then proceeded to like three tweets, which slammed her father TI for his actions. One of the tweets read "That is just beyond possessive".
Another user had written, "This is disgusting, possessive and controlling *whew*," while the third added, "'give me my results' first of all mf, those are HER results!! Like WTF".
T.I. had shared, "I will say as of her 18th birthday, her hymen is still intact. Deyjah’s 18, just graduated high school now and she’s attending her first year of college, figuring it out for herself. And yes, not only have we had the conversation [about sex], we have yearly trips to the gynecologist to check her hymen".
