Glamorous Swedish royal family members stun at close friend's wedding
The royals looked absolutely impeccable for the late spring occasion, with all of them looking absolutely stunning in all their individual attires.
The world began its official wedding season with the joyous union of Meghan Markle with Prince Harry last month. Therefore, it was not much of a surprise when the Swedish Royal family pulled out their fancy robes and attended a wedding last weekend.
The royal family members got together to celebrate the marriage of family friend Louise Gottlieb to Gustav Thott in Södermanland, where Swedish royals like King Carl XVI and Queen Silvia were in attendance. Also included in the guest list were Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Prince Carl Philip, Princess Sofia, and Princess Madeleine.
The royals looked absolutely impeccable for the late spring occasion, with all of them looking absolutely stunning in all their individual attires. After the family took part in the church service for the nuptials, they were then taken by boat to the family’s summer home, where there were other ceremonies scheduled, including dinner and dancing.
For the wedding, Princess Victoria chose a pink floral gown by Jenny Packham, which she teamed up with a regal brooch on the front of her dress, which was mirrored by Princess Sofia. Sofia wore the same matching brooch on her yellow one-shoulder gown with a slit on the left side, and the twinning royals even posed for pictures in them.
Princess Sofia and her husband Carl Phillip looked particularly spectacular at the event, and the couple recently made their Instagram account public for the world to see. The royal couple plan to use their social media accounts in order to give their royal fans a peek into their daily lives, along with a look at family photos featuring their two children.
The wedding attendance comes only three years after Sofia and Carl themselves tied the knot at Royal Chapel of Stockholm Palace on June 13, 2015. Since then, the two have come a long way, and share two adorable kids, two-year-old Prince Alexander, and Prince Gabriel, who was born in August last year.
The bride, Louise Gottlieb, is a longtime friend of Princess Madeleine, which is why Madeleine was on bridal duty at the event as a bridesmaid. Moreover, Gottlieb's parents are reportedly close friends of King Carl and Queen Silvia as well.
Madeleine was pictured in a pale blue dress for the wedding, and at one point was even photographed holding the bride's train at the ceremony. She was reportedly accompanied by her daughter Princess Leonore to the event.
This is a rare outing for the princess since the Swedish royal recently welcomed her third child, Princess Adrienne with her husband Christopher O'Neill in March. And being the media savvy family that the Swedish royals are, the Princess took to her official Instagram account to introduced her baby girl.
