CAPRI, ITALY: Chanel Iman is now engaged to Davon Godchaux just weeks after the duo announced they are expecting their first child together. On Tuesday, May 30, the 32-year-old supermodel shows off her engagement ring in an Instagram post and revealed the news.

Iman shared new photos of the romantic proposal in Capri, Italy where she is seen wearing a white lace dress and Godchaux down on one knee wearing a white button-up shirt and black trousers and surprising the former Victoria's Secret Angel with the engagement ring.

'Grateful for this new chapter and soon to be married'

The Instagram carousel showed them walking hand-in-hand, kissing each other, and standing together with big smiles on their faces. One of the photos showed a close-up of the engagement ring while another showed Iman posing while holding a bundle of roses.

Many models including Joan Smalls, Jourdan Dunn, and Lily Aldridge congratulated Iman under the Instagram post she captioned, "The blessings keep pouring, grateful for this new chapter and soon to be married and a forever to go. Capri, Italy 🇮🇹."

Talking about how nervous he was before the proposal, Godchaux also expressed his love for Iman through a social media post. "I never thought I would be getting down on one knee but LOVE will make you do some amazing things in life! Chanel I love you so much and I wouldn’t have rather spent this moment with no one else by my side!", Godchaux wrote in the sweet message he shared. "We are in this together and will always be, I love you from the bottom of my heart! My love, My fiance, My everything! What does not kill us only makes us stronger!!" he wrote while saying that he felt something special about Iman from the moment they met. Under Godchaux's engagement post, Iman commented, "Can’t wait to officially call you my husband and share your last name."

Iman is expecting her third baby

In April 2022, the duo took to Instagram to announce their relationship, and on May 3, the soon-to-be-wed couple revealed to their followers that they are expecting their first child together. The top model later shared that her third baby will be a girl. She shares two daughters, four-year-old Cali and three-year-old Cassie with her ex Sterling Shepard whom she divorced after nearly four years of marriage, according to People.
