'Pauline confirmed!' Supermario fans go berserk after spotting surprise character in promo posters

Pauline initially appeared with Mario in the original Donkey Kong arcade game

'Super Mario' fans can't keep calm as they spot Pauline in the promotional poster of The Super Mario Bros movie. The movie is all set to release on Tuesday, November 29. Meanwhile, during a special Nintendo Direct presentation, the first look of the Super Mario Bros Movie was screened in October.

Pauline can be seen in the back right of the image near the barbershop. She initially appeared with Mario in the original Donkey Kong arcade game. Pauline also made her appearance in 'Super Mario Odyssey.' According to Joblo.com, Nintendo took to Twitter to announce that the world premiere of the second trailer for the Super Marios Bros Movie will take place November 29 at 2 pm PT.

The Internet quickly reacted to the poster upon spotting Pauline and the other characters. Netizens jumped in with their assumptions and guesses. A user said, "People have been noticing Pauline. But they haven’t noticed yet that the Street sign says “Brooklyn”, so it looks like New Donk City is unconfirmed." Another claimed, "To be fair how Mario got to the Mushroom Kingdom is already a Super Show reference there so not too shock. With that said though I didn’t catch the Pauline one so that is cool. Plus there’s more that came out than these."

Another added, "Pauline confirmed! I wonder who's gonna voice her." A tweet read, "Pauline????? So that leak was basically 100% true at this point?. It's gotten everything right so far. Expect Donkey Kong Junior to make a cameo too." "Oh snap I see her!! Also Does that mean that Brooklyn is now officially canon in the Mario universe!!," wondered a user. A user added, "Yes she returns once more." A fan commented, "It's odd she isn't in one of her actress costumes because of how this is during the early years." A user explained. "I’m really glad Pauline is going to be in the Super Mario Movie. The Damsel turned Mayor deserves it." 

Meanwhile, another fan claimed, "I agree she's definitely be the mayor of new York in the super mario bros movie." A fan further added, "So cool that she’s in the movie! I can tell this is gonna be a huge love letter to the Mario franchise and I love it!." A fan stated, "Do you think Pauline could end up being considered as Mario’s ex-girlfriend in the movie sort of like how Katie from The Mitchells vs. The Machines had an ex-girlfriend named Chloe? (not seen, but was implied by one of Katie’s videos)."
