Aside from catching the nail-biting match between National Football Conference champion Los Angeles Rams and the American Football Conference champion Cincinnati Bengals, the audience were eagerly waiting for the highly hyped halftime performance. With the lineup including iconic performers like Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J Blige, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, 50 Cent, etc, fans were expecting to see hologram Tupac Shakur onstage as well.

Back in 2012, Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg unveiled a hologram of the legendary rapper while they were headlining at the  Coachella music festival, fans were expecting something similar from the famous dup for their Super Bowl performance as well. So, when the highly-anticipated hologram failed to make its appearance during the half-time performance, fans took to Twitter to express their anger and disappointment. Several fans questioned the organizers and Dr Dre for not adding Tupac's hologram to their performance.
