NFL star Von Miller faces arrest warrant for alleged assault on girlfriend during 'verbal argument'
DALLAS, TEXAS: Dallas police are seeking NFL Buffalo Bills star Von Miller, who is accused of assaulting his pregnant girlfriend during a "verbal argument" at their residence in Dallas, Texas, on November 29.
The woman was treated for minor injuries but not hospitalized, according to law enforcement sources, as reported by TMZ.
Von Miller left the scene before the police arrived
Authorities reportedly responded to a "major disturbance call" at a Dallas-area residence around 11 AM. It was revealed that Miller and the woman had engaged in a physical altercation following a verbal dispute, according to police statements.

Miller, a Buffalo Bills player, had departed the scene before the arrival of officers. The woman, identified as his girlfriend by RadarOnline, who is pregnant, did not require hospitalization.
Under Texas law, assaulting a pregnant woman is considered a felony. As of early Thursday morning, Miller has not been detained, and the investigation remains ongoing.
The felony offense carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine under Texas law.

Von Miller has not been jailed yet after assault
Dallas police have issued an arrest warrant for Miller, 34, who is facing a third-degree felony charge for assaulting a pregnant woman.
The warrant said, "This morning, we were made aware of an incident involving Von Miller. We are in the process of gathering more information and will have no further comment at this point."

The Buffalo Bills and the NFL both released statements on the matter, saying they are aware of the incident and are in the process of gathering more information.
"We are aware of the matter and have been in contact with the club. We have no further comment at this time," the NFL said.
They did not comment further on Miller’s status with the team or the league. Miller, who is from DeSoto, Texas, is currently on a bye week.
He last played for Buffalo on Sunday in Philadelphia, logging 21 snaps in an overtime loss to the Eagles.
Von Miller is a two-time Super Bowl champion
Miller is a two-time Super Bowl champion and an eight-time Pro Bowl selection.
He began his career in 2011 with the Denver Broncos and was traded to the Los Angeles Rams in 2021.
He helped the Rams win the Super Bowl that season and then signed with the Bills in 2022.

He has been largely ineffective since tearing his ACL on Thanksgiving last season.
This is not the first time Miller has been investigated for domestic violence. In 2021, he was accused of abusing his ex-fiancee, but no charges were filed.
