Super Bowl LVI: Mickey Guyton mislabled as Jhene Aiko, amused fans say 'get it together'
The much-awaited event of the year aka Super Bowl LVI kicked off at the SoFi Stadium, California. Ahead of the highly anticipated game between the National Football Conference champion Los Angeles Rams and the American Football Conference champion Cincinnati Bengals, keeping up with the tradition of opening the game with 'America the Beautiful' was six-time Grammy nominee Jhené Aiko.
While Jhene's rendition of America the beautiful was flawless, unfortunately, the same can't be said for the goof-up by NFL when Jhene's performance was announced and the camera panned to country singer Mickey Guyton and labeled her Jhene. Hawk-eyed fans immediately caught it and took to Twitter to slam NBC and NFL for mixing up Mickey with Jhene.
