'I feel robbed by Bravo': Andrea Denver, Luke Gulbranson and Alex Wach axed from Summer House S7

Season 7 of 'Summer House' is going to have some major changes when it comes to the casting. According to various reports, fan-favorite cast members- Luke Gulbranson, Andrea Denver, and newbie Alex Wach have been axed from the show's upcoming season.

Gulbranson addressed the rumors during a recent Instagram live session. The model confirmed that he wouldn't be returning to the Bravo show while declaring that he was "extremely bummed" about it. He however refused to reveal the reason for his exit. His fellow cast member Andrea too joined the live session briefly, but kept quiet about his own absence from the upcoming season. On the other hand, Alex, who joined the Bravo show during season 6, shared a very cryptic message on his page revealing that life threw some curveballs to his face which affected his mental health.

During the Instagram live, Gulbranson shared, "I’m not gonna be on ‘Summer House’ this year. I’m extremely thankful for the last three years of being on the show. I’m gonna miss my friends a ton. I’m actually extremely, extremely bummed I’m not gonna be able to spend the summer with them. It breaks my heart, but I know they’ll have a good time and we’ll be in touch.” When a fan asked why he was not returning, he replied, “I can’t answer the why.”

Gulbranson joined the Bravo show during season four and has since then become a hit amongst the show's fans for his witty commentary and ability to stir up drama. Italian model Andrea was roped in during season five after his stint on 'Winter House'. Andrea and Paige DeSorbo's "will they ? Or Won't they?" storyline kept the audience hooked for the longest time. Andrea didn't make any statement about his exit from the show. 

Alex took to his Instagram to announce that he was focussing on his mental health, without divulging anything about his exit from the Bravo show. The 31-year-old personal trainer wrote, "Everyone can agree that life throws some curve balls now and again. Recently I’ve felt like life has thrown me a curveball straight to my face 😵‍💫 At first I didn’t handle it in the best way, shutting myself in physically and emotionally. Even fitness, my passion, took a backseat to a point where it took all my willpower to get out of bed or leave the house."  “After a few weeks with some help from some friends, I’m learning to take some time to self reflect and take a step back, something extremely hard to do living within the NYC hustle and bustle lifestyle," he added. 

Season 7's filming is expected to begin over the July 4th weekend. The network is yet to make any announcement if the other cast members from season 6- Lindsay Hubbard, Ciara Miller, Paige, Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula, Carl Radke, Danielle Olivera and Mya Allen, would be returning or not. In the meanwhile, several fans took to Twitter to express their displeasure over the major cast shake-up.

A fan tweeted, "Just like comedies need a straight man, reality shows need the calmer, cooler heads as a foil. Luke, Andrea, and even Alex (in his brevity) were that for #SummerHouse." "@gulbranson_luke You will be missed. #SummerHouse," wrote a fan. "#SummerHouse made a huge mistake letting Luke go and we need to talk about it!!!," commented a fan. "Andrea is the best addition to the summer house cast since its inception. i feel robbed by bravo. i’ll miss luke too. #summerhouse," expressed a fan. "I am beyond devastated @gulbranson_luke is not coming back to #SummerHouse ," echoed a fan. "Whhhhhhhy are Andrea and Luke not on the new season of #summerhouse ? 'Summer House' is available for streaming on Bravo and Peacock.
