Suits alum Patrick J Adams and wife Troian Bellisario are expecting their first child
Things seem to be going pretty well for 'Suits' alum Patrick J. Adams and wife Troian Bellisario. The former 'Pretty Little Liars' actress and Adams are reportedly expecting a baby! Sources close to the couple have confirmed that the two are going to have their first child together soon. The couple who tied the knot in 2016 has had a very happy marriage so far. Speculation started making the round when Bellisario was seen covering her baby bump in Mykonos. Although a tiny one, the actress was reportedly conscious of the bump and tried to cover it.
The two were last seen together at the event of the year, on May 19, at the wedding ceremony of Adams' former colleague and friend Meghan Markle. Almost the entire cast of 'Suits', Markle's former law firm drama, was there to wish the Duchess a long and blissful married life. Adams even took to social media wishing his on-screen wife the best, tweeting, "Going to bed now and thinking a lot about the strange surreal and wonderful day my friend Meghan is going to have tomorrow. Meghan – wherever you are – we are so grateful to be here to watch you both take this monumental step together. Love deeply and live well."
Bellisario too was happy for her husband's friend. She said, "Weddings are a joyous occasion. But today was just off the charts amazing," she said of the nuptials, "Congratulations Meghan and Harry. I am so grateful I got to witness your love today." Adams attended the big day in a dark three-piece while Bellisario was seen a long-sleeved powder pink dress with a matching birdcage headpiece. The perfectly tailored dress did not show any hint of a baby bump.
The two have been co-stars as well and have always said that they enjoyed working together. Bellisario said in an interview in 2017, "What’s not to like about working with Patrick? He is talented, intelligent, funny, handsome, so that makes my job across from him easy to do, and he is my best friend so every day was a blast,” she said. This was around the time that she was in between promoting the sci-fi film Clara that they starred in together.
Even when Adams left 'Suits' along with Meghan Markle, he made it clear that he would like to spend time together with his wife. Fame can be daunting to celebrity marriages as we've seen countless times through the years. He had told Hollywood Reporter in January earlier this year, "After seven seasons — really, eight years of being away from home and away from my now-wife and there was that pressure. At the moment, I’m interested in taking a break. It’s nice to be home. It’s really nice to be with Troian, our dogs and to take the time to figure out exactly what shape I want to take my career after this." Congratulations to this happy couple!
