Not a day goes by when Kim Kardashian is not in the news. This time, her extreme weight loss to fit in Marilyn Monroe’s iconic gown at Met Gala 2022 has been called out by actress Lili Reinhart. The actress pointed out that Kim's diet regime to get the desired figure with a span of weeks is a wrong example for her fans. Her take on the issue soon went super viral. Sadly, Reinhart is being bashed by Kim K’s fans for her snide remarks.

After Kim spoke glowingly about her diet and exercise combo that she followed to lose 16 pounds in a three-week span for Met Gala 2022, the 25-year-old actress took to Instagram Stories on Tuesday, May 2, 2022, with a series of remarks, seemingly aimed at the 41-year-old socialite for setting a poor example for her fans. But were fans okay with the takedown? Of course not!

Lili Reinhart said, “To walk a red carpet and do an interview saying how starving you are because you haven’t eaten carbs in the last month … all to fit in a f***ing dress?” She added, “So wrong. So f***ed on 100’s of levels. To openly admit to starving yourself for the sake of the Met Gala. When you knew very well that millions of young men and women are looking up to you and listening to your every word.” 

In a plea to her fans in support of body positivity, Reinhart, stated, "The ignorance is other-worldly and disgusting." She urged, “Please stop supporting these stupid, harmful celebrities whose entire image revolves around their bodies.”

Reinhart further said that she isn’t an “angry person”, explaining that it is “the toxicity of this industry sometimes really gets to me and I have to do my little Instagram Story rants to release my rage.”

Reinhart’s rage followed Kim K opening up about her strict diet regime. Kim said Marilyn Monroe’s historical dress -- which she wore to sing 'Happy Birthday' for JFK -- initially didn’t fit her. She said, “When it didn’t fit me I wanted to cry because it can’t be altered at all," she said. "I looked at them, and I said, give me three weeks, and I had to lose 16 pounds down [to] today to be able to fit this. It was such a challenge, it was like a role. I was determined to fit into it. I don’t think they believed I was going to do it, but I did it.”

On Monday, at the Met Gala 2022, Kim K walked on the red carpet wearing the dress looking all fabulous. To get into the dress, Kim K said, “I would wear a sauna suit twice a day, run on the treadmill, completely cut out all sugar and all carbs, and just eat the cleanest veggies and protein.” She added, “I didn’t starve myself, but I was so strict.” Though Kim admitted to her fitness regime she did not promote the diet; and so Reinhart’s remarks sparked fury among Kim’s fans.

One fan wrote on Twitter saying, “Oh please 🙄… Kim has right to do with her body whatever she wants, her body her choice, no?…. 👉🤡🌎”, while another said, “Who the f**k is Lili Reinhart?” Another fan said, “She's doing too much...4 slides on insta stories??” While another said, “She just sad bc she didn’t attend to the Met Gala.” One another fan wrote, “It’s never that deep, she clearly mad it wasn’t her in the dress🙈🤭”.
