'Broken marriages are ugly': Steven Crowder doubles down on estranged wife Hilary, files for divorce
TENNESSEE, NASHVILLE: Steven Crowder, the political commentator who is involved in an ugly controversy, has refused to go soft after ring camera captured him berating his heavily pregnant wife Hilary. After what is now a viral clip on social media, he announced on Tuesday, April 25, his decision on filing for divorce. "I have been living with a proverbial boot on my neck for going on years now. Since 2021, I've been living through what has increasingly been a horrendous divorce," said the host of ‘Louder with Crowder.’
Crowder again took a shot at his estranged wife on Friday afternoon, April 28, calling it ‘my statement.’ In it, he claimed that Hilary leaked ‘edited’ footage to the press, showing him emotionally and verbally abusing her while she was in her eighth month. "Broken marriages are ugly. In them, people do ugly things, myself of course included, and I would never claim otherwise,” said Crowder on Friday. He also vowed to get the Texas courts to unseal medical records, mental health history, and depositions from their divorce filings. And if the court doesn’t he will do it, reports Daily Mail.

'Because if you don't do wifely things'
In the video, Crowder refuses Hilary to use their only car to go buy groceries while she was pregnant with their twins. Hilary’s family released a statement. Steven says "I drew a boundary. You're not taking the car." When Hilary asks why she can’t, Steven replies, "Because if you don't do wifely things then I will go get the groceries." Steven questions do she respects males, to which Hilary says she does. The wife then suggests if it is okay she rents a taxi, then Steven suggests her an Uber. In a video on his Twitter page, Crowder said: “I commented on my ongoing divorce on Tuesday, requesting privacy in the best interest of the family but also by court order agreed upon by all parties. However, due to recent misleadingly edited leaks to the tabloid press, without context and not subject to consequences of the court...well, if not privacy, the next best option is truth.
'A motion to officially unseal all files'
He continues, “And so today, I have filed a motion to officially unseal all files as they relate to the matter of legal record. Finances, relevant medical records including mental health history or evaluations, depositions, and any motions or sanctions from the courts of Texas. I will NOT be leaking private marital information to the press, but if the privacy agreements are not respected by all parties, I will address all that is a matter of irrefutable legal record, in full context, next week.”
