Jenna Dewan has just announced that she is expecting her second child. The 38-year-old 'Step Up' star is expecting her first child with boyfriend Steve Kazee after mothering six-year-old daughter Everly with former husband Channing Tatum.

"We are beyond overjoyed and couldn’t be happier to be expanding our family!" the couple shared in a statement, according to People.

Jenna, who announced her separation from Channing, her husband of nine years, in February 2018, began dating 43-year-old Steve just six months after.

The former couple first met on the set of 'Step Up' and tied the knot in 2009 at Church Estates Vineyards in Malibu. In May of 2013, they welcomed daughter Everly to the world.

"We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple," she announced on Instagram at the time. "We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together."

"There are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision — just two best friends realizing it's time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible," she added.

Following the separation, Channing went on to date British singer Jessie J, while Jenna got together with Steve.

"Jenna’s relationship with Steve is very serious," a source told People. "So many things had to work for Jenna to even consider dating again. And everything has clicked with Steve. [Steve] is very supportive of her as a mom. He is amazing with Everly. Jenna loves having Steve around. She feels very lucky to be dating him."

As of now, Jenna is preparing to promote Soundtrack, her upcoming musical series on Netflix. The show would see her play Joanna, a Child Protection Services worker.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the dancer revealed that her Tony-winning boyfriend helped her a lot during the production of the highly-anticipated series.

"He did give me some little tips and hints there, because it was my first musical experience. So, yeah, he was very helpful," she said.
